BONES: David Boreanaz Talks Going Undercover and the Final Scene of Season 6

In Thursday’s season finale of BONES, Booth and Brennan’s investigation into a death at a bowling alley leads the duo to go undercover in order to solve the case. And while the plan was initially to have series star David Boreanaz (Booth) be fitted with prosthetics to age his character for the undercover assignment, time constraints led them to go in a different direction.

I talked with Boreanaz before the Paley Center panel honoring the show about how the new undercover persona came to be and whether that Twitter picture of the setup of the last scene of the season was as spoilery as fans may think it was…

For what it’s worth, when I went to investigate said picture, one of the marks in the picture Boreanaz tweeted is orange. Tricky, tricky Boreanaz.

Let the speculation begin…

    Okay I watched 3 times and still I don’t get it. What’s he talking about? Why does it make a difference what color his mark was?

    There’s a blue mark (ED’s?) and an orange mark, his. And they are close together. What is he talking about?

    apparently he normally doesn’t have an orange mark. but I still don’t see what the significance of that could be.

    Are we sure the other mark is orange? Could it be red? Maybe it’s not him in that final scene…….is Brennan even blue or is it a finale scene with two people other than B&B???

    Well if it’s not B&B it might be Bones and max …but the mark really looks orange …awww David! Now he got me all confused 😀

    So I don’t know what he thinks we need to figure out, other than he changed the color of his mark for the Flyers. And honestly, B&B were standing closer together in last year’s finale, but that’s not to say they don’t move closer together at some point. (Or walk away together…)

    That is an orange mark on the sidewalk. I just saw the picture again. But they are still close though.

    Yeah I thought it meant that Promo Pic. They’ll move closer together and we’ll have our marks … and a kiss lol =) That’s what I thought at least hmmmm

    The blue mark is closer to the orange mark which probably means brennan will kiss booth and not the other way around.

    I don’t really understand his point, but according to the promo picture and his two pictures of the marks, he’s where the blue one is and she’s where the orange one is… so yeah… he’s probably screwing with us.

    I read from a Canadian fan on FOX Community that Booth is going to be a
    father and Brennan a mother.
    Bones was shown Wednesday instead of Thursday so our northern neighbors
    know what happen before we do.
