Commander in Chief Benched Until Spring Term
February 11, 2006 by Kath Skerry
ABD has announced that its hit freshman drama Commander in Chief will not be seen again until mid-April. The plan originally called for Chief to take a break to allow for the mid-season replacement, Sons & Daughters. But with slumping ratings, the February episodes of Commander in Chief have been pulled as well.
ABC maintains that they are still 100% behind the show, and that when it returns to the schedule on April 18th viewers will have 7 brand new episodes to enjoy.

I love this show.
I watch very little television–or should I say if it’s not on cable, I probably don’t know what it is– so this was a real treat for me. When I heard it had been pulled I was pissed.
