Chris Daughtry to Get Job Offer Tonight!!!
May 11, 2006 by Kath Skerry
Looks like getting booted from American Idol isn’t hurting Chris Daughtry one bit. According to TMZ.com and Ryan Seacrest, a nationally known, hit-making band, is hoping that Chris will front their band. The group will make their plea known during Extra tonight.
Chris, who appeared on Ryan’s KIIS FM radio show this morning doesn’t seem to know what band is making the offer, but when asked by Seacrest whether or not he would accept the invitation, Daughtry tactfully noted that he’s taking his time right now and weighing his options carefully.
So I guess we are going to have to watch Extra tonight to find out what group is making the big offer. Early speculation is that it’s either Fuel or Creed. Pass on both…you can make it on your own Daughtry. You don’t need them.
UPDATE: As predicted, the offer came from Fuel, but no reaction from Daughtry yet.

I read somewhere that the band was Live! I thought the guys from Creed started a new band and retired the name Creed.
Creed no longer exists.
Some of the band members formed a band called Alter Bridge.
It is most likely Fuel. They has been talking about wanting him since he sang their song Hemorrage (sp).
He has to stay with Idol through the summer tour though, so he is sort of screwed for a while anyway.
my dad heard about this on the radio ages ago, after he sang Fuel’s “Hemorrhage.” doesn’t he have his own band already? I never understood why he needed the show, other than a record deal. if you are (or the nuts in this country think you are) good enough to win American Idol, you should be good enough to get a record deal on your own.
