I know, I know…I have been posting a lot of Office-related content lately. But I would be remiss if I didn’t remind EVERYONE that NBC is airing two back-to-back episodes of The Office tonight (8:30pm & 9:30pm EST)
First up is “The Office Olympics” – a classic! Because of this episode we know have Flonkerton, and the world is better for it.
And showing right after is the “Booze Cruise” episode. Ok, if you come to this site and read all this stuff about Pam and Jim, but you don’t watch The Office.…watch tonight’s “Booze Cruise” ep and you will know exactly what I’ve been talking about all these months. In addition to some hysterical moments (Michael’s dance…Titanic references) there are some pretty classic Jam moments. Oh those damn 27 seconds of silence!!!
(…and for a little background on what is was like to film the “Booze Cruise” episode, check out my interview with John Krasinski & Jenna Fischer)
Big Brother All Stars….They’re Back

Want to talk about guiltu pleasures? I am here to admit that, yes, I am a fan of Big Brother. I did my best to avoid it the first two seasons, but around Season 3 I caught an ep here and there (hell it’s on almost every night) and I got hooked. It’s just plain fun!!!
Big Brother is back and it’s the All Star edition. GMMR is super lucky to have our very own special Big Brother expert, Queen TV, watching and recapping the shows for us this season. So I now turn it over to Queen TV to give us the scoop on the Big Brother All Star special that aired last night. Look for updates from QT as the show kicks off!!
—————————————————————————————————————————–
The Big Brother 7: All-Stars top 20 has been officially revealed. In this list of 20 we have some old favorites and a few we forgot that we loved to hate. Nothing about this list is a surprise since CBS leaked the list weeks ago when the voting website and had the content up for a few hours. Whoops… Anyway, now is time to vote for who you want to be in the BB7 house. The three guys and three girls who get the most votes will automatically get into the house and the producers will round out the group of 12 who will make up this season of Big Brother. Vote by midnight eastern time on Wednesday, June 28th at http://www.cbs.com/primetime/bigbrother7/. There is no limit to how many times you can vote. Get to voting make sure your favorites get in the house!
Below are the 20 potential contestants for Big Brother 7: All-Stars, broken down per season. As you can see there is quite a favoritism to seasons 2,5,6. Personally, I would like to see some people from the earlier seasons get voted in and I think all of the previous winners should not get another chance because they will be targeted early anyway. Since all the reality stars for the most part hang out in LA and have cliques, you can bet that there is already alliances and strategies in place before any of them set foot in the house. This is shaping up to be quite an interesting summer!
BB1: George
BB2: Bunky, Mike “Boogie”, Monica, Will
BB3: Danielle, Lisa, Marcellas
BB4: Alison, Dana, Erika
BB5: Diane, Jase, Michael “Cowboy”, Nakomis
BB6: Howie, Ivette, James, Janelle, Kaysar

Sick of License to Wed information and pics yet? Hope not because we have got a looooong time until this movie premieres, and I plan on writing about it a LOT!!! I’m not the only one talking about License to Wed. Just Jared has some some new pics, including some of Mandy Moore in the wedding dress that she gets to wear while marrying John Krasinski. It was hard to look at her. I got a little emotional. But it’s all fake. She’s not really marrying him. It’s all fake. It’s all fake. My therapist keeps telling me to say that over and over again. (Just Jared)
Speaking of our favorite TV funnymen in big time movies. Zach Braff launched his new website, ZachBraff.com – have you seen it? Well make sure you head over there to check out the trailer to Zach’s new movie, The Last Kiss. The movie also stars one of my favorite small screen gals, Rachel Bilson. (ZachBraff.com)
Just two good ol boys, never meanin’ no harm…oh how I loved The Dukes of Hazzard back in the day. My sister, Karen, my cousin Kevin and I used to play Dukes for hours outside of my grandparents’ house. It was a special day when I got to play Daisy Duke – a very special day. If you loved The Dukes, then you need to check out Tube Talk’s interviews with Bo, Luke and Daisy Duke and all your other favorites from back in the day. (Tube Talk)
The FAB Michael K of Dlisted.com reports that “The Coreys” (Haim and Feldman…like there were any other) are planning on starring in their own buddy comedy, called…well “The Coreys”. Everwood gets cancelled and this crap makes it to our TVs? Wow!! Just…wow! (Dlisted)
The Office Season 2 DVDs are now available for pre-order. Make sure you get yours NOW!! They are going to be really hard to find. Trust me on this one. The DVDs are being released on Sept. 12th, and yes, I am calling in sick on September 13th. (Universal Home Video)
Just a reminder that The Office’s Jenna Fischer will be on Bravo’s Celebrity Poker Showdown tonight. If you’ve seen the promos you know we are in for some serious Jenna Fischer cuteness tonight. But most importantly, all the celebrities are playing for New Orleans-related charities. The tragedy of Hurricane Katrina is still very real for the people of New Orleans. Please take the time to read Jenna Ficher’s MySpace blog to learn more about her trip. And if you are a fan of The Office, let Jenna know by donating to her chosen charity, Catholic Charities of New Orleans. Please donate whatever you can. Any amount will make a difference. Click here to donate or call 1-800-311-0826.
P.S. Jenna is wearing the cutest hoodie that says “Beesly” on the back. Squash her cuteness!!!! Although how much better would it be if it said “Halpert” on the back?!

On Sunday, August 27th The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences will be rewarding the best that TV has to offer at the 58th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, and I want to go. I will do anything to see the show in person…PLEASE HELP!!!Be the cool, hip network that shuns the traditional press and invites the real TV critics…the bloggers. Come on, um Greg Daniels, can’t you spare an extra ticket for the people that helped you supersize the season finale of The Office?! What’s one ticket? You won’t even miss it, right?
If you think you might be able to help get me to the Emmys, email me…and I will work on getting you my first born (I’m just waiting on that Krasinski guy to call me back).

Depsite the passionate please from the fans, Everwood is no more. Our beloved Everwood may be gone, but it will never be forgotten. Show creator, Greg Berlanti, have asked that Everwood fans refocus their efforts from a “save this show” campaign, to a demand for the DVDs to be released. Here’s what Greg Berlanti recently told E! Online’s Kristin Veitch.
“This fan enthusiasm is so appreciated, and I would love to sort of redirect it–if I could–to getting the show released on DVD. We got season one released on DVD and over time it’s done well. But initially, it didn’t do well enough for them to slate additional seasons. That’s something I’m working on, and the fans could be of great help.”
And I can be of assistance by finding the right person to send your Everwood DVD support letters. And that is:
Jeff Brown, Senior Vice President
Warner Home Video
4000 Warner Blvd.
Burbank, CA 91522
Here’s the best part. Right now Amazon.com is offering Season One of Everwood on DVD for get this….only $18. That’s an amazing deal. There is no reason you shouldn’t click on the link below and buy it right now.
So if you were a fan of Everwood, send those letter and buy season one NOW!!!

More License to Wed Pics – John Krasinski & Mandy Moore
June 19, 2006 by Kath Skerry
Filed under License to Wed, TV News
Looks like I have officially joined the PR team for the upcoming romatic comedy, License to Wed. I hope the pics keep coming because I get giddy everytime I see a new one. Ok, maybe not as giddy as John Krasinski in this picture, but pretty close.
And as for the other pics below, I’m just going to assume they were taken during a scene where Sadie (Moore) and Ben (Krasinski) were fighting. Because I can’t imagine that Mandy Moore could look that annoyed while standing so close to J.Kras. Plus, Mandy is so adorable..she should always be smiling.
I still can’t get over how tall she is! John is 6’3 and she looks just about as tall as him. And John’s hair? Don’t get me started on how adorable he is!!
Have I mentioned that I CANNOT wait until this movie comes out. Seriously…Mandy Moore and John Krasinski. I just adore them both so much. Although I am a little jealous because no one should be able to have the looks, the voice and the acting chops like Mandy. Share the wealth girl.

“The Office” Season 2 DVD Release Date Announced
June 19, 2006 by Kath Skerry
Filed under The Office, TV Comedy
Word on the street, ok from NBC, is the the DVDs for the 2nd season of The Office will be available on September 12th.
Here’s part of the press release from NBC:
It’s time to clock in for Season Two of The Office, the hilarious and witty TV-mockumentary starring Steve Carell (The 40-Year-Old Virgin) in his Golden Globe Award-winning role. From sexual politics to performance reviews to email espionage, the employees at Dunder-Mifflin are there to get the job done…or not. Join earnest but clueless boss Michael Scott (Carell), Assistant to the Regional Manager Dwight (Rainn Wilson), receptionist Pam (Jenna Fischer), sales rep Jim (John Krasinski), and the office temp, Ryan (B.J. Novak), as they make the daily grind a lot more laughable. Fully staffed with 22 outrageous episodes and hours of side-splitting bonus features, it’s the must-own collection that caused Time magazine to declare “Never has a lousy job been so much fun!”
We are still waiting on the cover art and a full list of DVD extras. According to Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey and David Denman, we can expect great cast commentary, deleted scenes, the hilarious ‘the more you know’ faux-PSAs, the Olympic promos, and some behind the scenes footage shot by Ms. Pam Beesly herself, Jenna Fischer.
Usually Amazon.com offers a pre-order, and when they do I’ll be sure to let you know. I can not wait for Season 2 to be released. Of course I may not leave the house for a week, but it will be well worth it.
(Thanks to the folks at The Office LJ community for finding the cover art)
Fichtner’s “Invasion” of “Prison Break”

William Fichtner, star of the recently defunct, Invasion, will join in the hunt for Michael Scofield and his band of merry men on the upcoming season of Prison Break. Fitchner has signed on to play a federal agent who has been assigned to track down the Fox River inmates who are on the run.
Although Fichtner is a well known actor with an esteemed career, he will always be Colonel Willy Sharp from Armageddon, to me. I just can’t think of him as anything else. Sorry Mr. Fichtner…at least it was a good role.
Entourage Recap (One Day in the Valley)

Episode: “One Day in the Valley”
Original Aridate: June 18, 2006
Previously on Entourage…
Vince’s mom came to town for the premiere of Aquaman. And yeah…nothing else really happened. Let’s hope tonight has a little something more for those of us who have been patiently waiting the return of this how for a looooong time.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Today the boys are expecting the first numbers from the Aquaman premiere. Ari thinks it’s a good idea to wake up Eric at 5:45AM to talk about the big day. E thinks it’s better to sleep. Looks like the studio is expecting the movie to open at $95M, so a dollar under that would be considered less than spectacular. Despite Turtle’s inistence that the movie is going to open bigger than Spiderman, Vince claims not to care. But, if Aquaman does open bigger than Spiderman, the boys are getting some toys.
Vince, Eric, Turtle and Drama head to the Valley to catch showing of the movie. Drama is none to happy about going to the Valley and enduring the heat. Yup, the Left Coast is experiencing a bit of a heat wave, which should bode well for the movie. Heat waves often drive people into the theaters, right? Oh, wait is that just an East Coast thing? I suppose everyone in LA has air conditioning. Anyway, the guys arrive in the Valley and watch the flick with a packed house. We finally get to see a glimpse of Aquaman, which includes Vinnie walking down a boardwalk towards the water just as all the people around him are running in terror away from the it. Looking FINE in a tux, and with better shorter hair, Vince takes a running leap off the dock and is about to enter the water when…darkness.
Josh Jackson’s PDA with Diane Kruger…Blech

You think you’ve moved on….put it all behind you, and them BAM!, without any warning you see your ex with his new girlfriend. Sucks doesn’t it?! Yep, that’s what I had to deal with this afternoon when I came across these pics of Josh Jackson and hew girlfriend Diane Kruger canoodling on the streets of Paris.
Now I don’t know much about this Kruger chick. I guess she was in National Treasure and Troy (two movies I couldn’t bother to see), but come on, is she good enough for Joshua Jackson…my Pacey Witter? Something tells me no.
Don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine. I’ve moved on – I really have. After years of searching for a suitable TV boyfriend to replace Josh, I am very happy with John Krasinski, and I feel secure in our fictional relationship. But it’s still hard to see JJ with someone else…and it probably always will be.
I guess in hingsight, I’m glad Josh’s pilot didn’t get picked up by CBS this season. Because now I know the affect seeing him every week would have on this poor blogger.

GMMR Exclusive Interview with David Denman Interview (Part II)

We are back with PART II of Give Me My Remote’s Interview with David Denman. If you missed part I, please click here to check it out.
In Part II, I figured I would let David tell you, in his own words, about how he got involved with The Office, what it’s like to work on a big studio movie, the season 2 DVDs and more. And check out GMMR’s exclusive scoop on an important scene that was left on the cutting room floor.
…landing the role of Roy
“I have a buddy of mine in New York who was a huge fan of the BBC version of The Office. I happened to be in New York for the premiere of this movie I was in called “Big Fish”, and my buddy said you have got to watch this show. I was like..yeah yeah, ok. I finally went home and I watched it, and I said Oh my God this is brilliant. I grabbed my wife and I said you got to watch…it’s so good.
Not too long after, right in the beginning of January, I heard they were doing an American version of the show, and I thought, man, I have to get in on that show. I thought, there’s got to be something I can do in that. But my agent said ‘no, they’re really looking for names.’ I said ‘names?’ what are you talking about. He had heard that they were reading Steve Carell and Bob Odenkirk and a few other guys. I said you’re crazy you’ve got to get me in. So as it ends up, he called me back and said ‘my bad, I got an audition for you.’ So I went in, and I had one reading, and then I went it and read for the producers, and it went very well. They called me back a few days later and asked if I wanted it.
I started out as a guest star, and then when we came back in Season 2 they made me a recurring character, and then finally in December they made me, along with some others, a regular. That was really great because it’s nice to know that you put so much time and energy into a show that you really believe in, and then have it work out like that…it was great.”
…Roy vs. Jim – the greek gods
“You know the Greeks have the Eros and the Agape types of love…the Eros being the passionate and the Agape being the more solid, maybe husband like type of love. And I think there may be a more solid side to Roy, like ‘he’s going to be a good dad’ and ‘a good family guy’. And Pam may not have the passion for Roy that she does for Jim, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I have no clue what’s going to happen, but it’s fun being in this situation where there are so many possibilities. And if it lends it self to get more people to watch and more people to get involved, then we have a better chance to continue.”

Izzie knew Denny for all of 10 minutes before they got engaged. He dies, and now she’s already agreed to marry this guy. Slow down Iz.
