World Series of Pop Culture

Man did I ever miss my calling. VH1 has a new game show called The World Series of Pop Culture, and oh how I wish I had tried out. Teams of three compete against eachother answering questions about anything and everything relating to pop culture…current TV shows, movies sequels, famous theme songs and more. All this useless trivia rockin’ around in my skull could have actually earned me some bank. Here’s to hoping this season does well so I can try out next year.

Some of the contestants are a little dorky and a wee bit over the top, but I got a kick out of the show all the same.

The World Series of Pop Culture premieres on Monday, July 10th at 10/9c on VH1. To learn more about the show, including additional viewing times, check out the callout on the right hand side of this page.

I almost entered this year. How nerdy am I?

When I found out, I made sure that I would be at my computer the moment testing started. I was so excited, and then a few hours before the test, my internet spazzed out and I couldn’t get online.

I did the test today… It’s actually a lot harder than you’d think! The questions weren’t the kind they ask on the actual show. Plus, the time limit freaked me out! It made me feel rushed! Next year, I’m gonna form my own team b/c I honestly don’t think I did too well!
