So You Think You Can Dance is Going to Be Sad Tonight

I have resigned myself to the fact that during tonight’s result show, I am going to have to say goodbye to Jailbait Ivan. This kid is adorable in an “I want to scoop you up and put you in my pocket kind of way” and I’m going to miss him. I’m pretty sure we are going to say goodbye to Natalie too.  I thought her solo last night was really good, but she’s been on the chopping blocks for weeks now and it’s just a matter of time.

I think Ducky’s BF Travis will join Ivan in the bottom two, but only because I think Benji will have more votes going into tonight.  I voted for Travis a lot last night.  I thought he needed my votes more than Benji.

For the girls, I think Doneylle will stand beside Natalie tonight.  Cousin Heidi was praised up and down by all the judges last night, so I don’t think it’s going to be her.

And for the record, the solos are getting OLD.  By now we know that Ivan is going to be doing his pop-lock thing, Cousin Heidi is going to be doing a fast number that requires her to smile a lot and shake her hips, Travis is going to do his spinning top thing (which is getting REALLY old), and Benji is going to be grinning like a Cheshire cat while shaking his booty (which is becoming his signature move).  I personally think Natalie and Donyelle are the only ones that really change it up from week-to-week.

I guess we’ll see how it all goes down, but I’m pretty sure it’s the end of the road for my Ivan and Natalie.
