GMMR Update

As some of you know, GiveMeMyRemote.com ran into a few technical issues on Tuesday. One of our servers crashed and it really messed up the whole site. For those of you who tried to access the site yesterday during this chaos, I’m so sorry.
As you can see, we are back up and running, albeit a little mish-mashed. Since I had to rebuild some of the site I decided to introduce a little bit of the new look for GMMR. So you’ve got some of the new look mixed in with some of the old look right now…this sucks, but it’s 1AM and I need to get some sleep.
Things should be in good working order by end of day Wednesday if not sooner. Thanks again for your patience.
P.S. And let me know what you think about GMMR’s new look. It’s got a long way to go and things aren’t quite lining up as they should, but I think you get where I’m going. Let me know if you like it.
Prison Break Origami Code Broken

I am impressed. I mean REALLY impressed. Someone just wrote into the WWK site and shared that some of the smarty pants over at the Prison Break MySpace page have figured out how to decode origami code that Michael has been sending to Sara. Check it out…VERY cool.
3 6 3 3 9 8 6 8 7 = “Phone number” Michael gave Sara on the crane.
… .. .. . .. …. … … .. …. = First line of dots on the crane from Ep 201.
3 2 2 1 2 4 3 3 2 4 = The dots, converted to numbers.
7 3 6 3 3 9 8 6 8 7 = Numbers on a phone key pad
3 2 2 1 2 4 3 3 2 4 = Letters for each number above it.
For example, (7, 3). The third letter on the number 7 is R. Then (3, 2). The second letter on number three is E. Following this pattern, the first line of the dots combined with the new phone number spells out… “R E N D E Z V O U S” – which is French for “meeting” or “get together”.
We did the same thing for the phone number given on the 9/25 episode which gave us the message “SUNDOWN HOT” and from a special source, we have learned that the last set of #s is 35445266 which gives the message “ELGILANM” spaced out correctly, the message is – “Rendezvous – Sundown Hotel – Gila, NM
I couldn’t find the Prison Break MySpace group online, but if you have the link please share and I will be sure to link over to them.

Prison Break Recap: Subdivision

Hot damn we have a lot of recaps happening today. Monday has because a busy, busy night for GMMR and my recappers. Next up…Prison Break
Title: Subdivision
Original Airdate: September 25, 206
Guess who’s back???? The craziest of the crazies…Haywire. The only one of the Fox River 8 we had yet to see this season, Haywire is no different than when we last saw him in the season finale. He’s still creepy, crazy and still riding the bike he was riding when we last saw him during the season finale.
Just in case his crazy eyes didn’t give it away, he reminds us all what a whack job he is when he breaks into a fast food restaurant and devours everything in site. No need for cups, bowls or god forbid a napkin. He’d rather have the food and beverages cover him from head to toe. So when a couple of frisky teenagers come in to open the burger joint, and spot Haywire, the screams of horror was for reals yo. (How’s that for a little Tweener for ya).
Sucre is back on the hog and navigating the open road. And oh my goodness, what a coinkydink, look who he just happens to run into…a hitchhiking C-Note. How convenient. A reluctant Sucre agrees to take C-Note with him after learning C-Note has a copy of the map to DB Cooper’s money.
Back in Chicago, Sara checks her mail only to find another swan from Michael. This one with a different phone number. Once again the number doesn’t’ work. Hmm, could it not be a phone number, but rather a code? Me thinks so.
How I Met Your Mother Recap

Filed under How I Met Your Mother
Things pick up as we left them last week with Marshall, Ted, Barney and Robin sitting in McClaren’s (surprise surprise) laughing and having a few beverages. Robin heads out, and the boys quickly congratulate Marshall on checking out her ass as she left – a sign he is starting to move on from Lily. Even Robin is excited about the news..
Ted: Marshall was checking out your ass.
Robin: Thanks, I felt like I was having a bad ass day.
You know who else thinks Robin has a great ass? Lily. Yup, Lily is back in New York and at a stunned Robin’s apartment. So much has happened, so much drama, and Robin gets right to it. She looks Lily right in they eyes and tells her…that she loves her new dark hair. [GMMR sidenote: I LOVE her new hair color…she looks fab]
Lily and Robin go apartment hunting and Lily shares all the tales of her wonderful time in San Francisco. Things seem a bit fishy, because really could everything have been that good? Hmmm.
HEROES Recap: Series Premiere

So did you guys catch Heroes last night? NBC was marketing the show so aggresively, I half expected someone to storm into my house last night and force me down while I watched the show. But alas, no one did, but I watched it all the same. You know who else watched it? The fabulous Julie!! Julie is my Hero for taking on our weekly recaps of Heroes…enjoy, and tell Julie and I what YOU thought of the show. Is this one a keeper?
Series Premiere
Original Airdate: September 25, 2006
We open on an image of the globe. Fitting, since we’re going to be globetrotting throughout this recap.
New York. Peter leans over the edge of the roof of a tall building. Arms outstretched, he plummets to the ground, floating over the city before he awakens indoors, in a chair. He’s a nurse, caring for an unconscious patient and flirting with the patient’s grown daughter, Simone.
Madras, India. A dandy-suited, attractively coiffed teacher (who we’ll come to know as Mohinder) lectures about genetic code and the possibility of extraordinary abilities. A colleague comes in to tell him his father, scientific researcher turned NYC cab driver, is dead. Mohinder is convinced it was because of his father’s theories and heads off to finish the research his father started – beginning with his house in India (where there’s a mysterious bespectacled man already rooting through things) all the way to his cockroach-infested place in Brooklyn. In both places, there are maps with pin-marked locations and files listing strange and wondrous abilities like teleportation.
Las Vegas. Nikki the webcam star gives a tawdry performance before making sure her computer-genius son is ready for school. Micah, her son, is giving her a little smart-mouthing when they’re interrupted by a knock on the door. Nikki and Micah hurry out back to avoid a couple thugs who break down the door.

I know you can’t see me, but I’m doing the happy dance. Why? Because I am about 15 minutes into the Season 3 premiere of Veronica Mars. Why only 15 minutes? Well, because I felt extremely guilty for having this information and NOT sharing it with you guys. Don’t say I never do anything nice. I gave up the immediate gratification of Logan Echolls for your pleasure. You owe me.
My show is back baby!! It’s been one hell of a Veronica Mars evening. Earlier tonight I was lucky to get some scoop from Rob Thomas and Tina Majorino (which we will talk about tomorrow). But now…just head over to MSN.com and check out Veronica Mars in all her collegiate goodness. CLICK HERE TO WATCH!!
I wish I had a direct link to the video, but it’s not that simple. But here’s how you reach it.
- Click here to head over to the TV buzz page on MSN.com (http://tv.msn.com/tv/tvbuzz)
- Look for link that says: “Videos: See the episode before it premieres.”
- Once that launches, and “Everybody Hates Chris” starts playing, look for the search box directly under the video and type in “VERONICA MARS”
- And poof…you’re a machiatto. Ok, you’re not, but you will find the link to the S3 premiere episode.
Our of courtesy for those who don’t want to be spoiled, I would love if you guys would leave your comments about the premiere ep in the GMMR forums – just until it airs on October 3rd. Chat about Veronica Mars Season 3 Premiere here.

Lessons We’ve Learned from “The Office”
September 25, 2006 by Kath Skerry
Filed under The Office, TV News
I was stumbling around on the E! Watch with Kristin boards, and I came across a thread entited “Lessons We’ve Learned by Watching The Office”. I thought it was genius, so I thought I would share some of them with you. It’s not everyday that a TV show has such an impact on its audience. Had we never seen The Office we might may never know that…
- Sometimes it pays to be gay.
- The color green is kind of whorish
- You can order Gaydar from Sharper Image but order early because they are usually out.
- ALWAYS check your calendar! Just because you think it’s Friday does not mean it is Friday. It could be Thursday.
- You can’t fire somebody just because they’re in your van. They don’t work there.
- Never move to a neighborhood where you are the best looking one there.
- Not a lot of Americans know what a sempai is, but it’s equally as respected as a sensei.
- Hooking up with a girl on February 13th is not a good idea.
- Never, ever tape yourself having sex. It’s not a good idea…ever.
- If you put a bloody glove in someone’s drawer as a prank, it may backfire and make them think you killed someone.
- The uterus is not the same thing as a vagina.
- The movie about that huge ship that sinks when it hits an iceberg isn’t called The Hunt for Red October.
- Growing from a boy into a man overnight is a disability.
- If you are a racist, you will be attacked with the North.
So what have YOU learned from The Office? Please share…you never now if what you learned could help to save a life.

This is it…my last Office update of the week. I think it’s time to take a break and step away from the show. But before I could leave I had to let you know about a few goodies for you Officianados.
Deleted Scenes….
NBC.com has deleted scenes from last night’s episode. Per usual, the deleted scenes would have fit perfectly within the show. I would actually venture to say that had these deleted scenes been included, the show might have even been better. Especially the scene between Pam and Michael, because come on…we were all waiting for the awkward post breakup interaction. And I was kind of bummed that we didn’t hear about what was going on with Michael and Carol. Watch the clip and you will know.
The Two Minute Recap….
If you missed last nights episode, don’t fret. There are plenty of way to catch up. NBC.com is offering a great 2-minute recap of last night’s show. It’s actually pretty funny and I’ve watched it a few times already. (click on the link below & look for the link on the right side of The Office homepage at NBC.com.)
In Case You Were Wondering…
(Thanks to Larry Lee for leaving this gem on my MySpace page)
