TiVo ALERT!! “Night of Too Many Stars”
October 14, 2006 by Kath Skerry
Ok I have NO idea how this one escaped my radar, but we’ve got some important Must See TV tomorrow night. Jon Stewart is hosting Comedy Central’s first live, on-air and online special event, Night of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Benefit for Autism Education. The show will be held at New York City’s Beacon Theatre on Sunday, October 15. The comedians will perform to raise money to benefit education and research programs for autistic children and adults.
You can watch the show LIVE on Comedy Central at 8/7c or you can watch it online at ComedyCentral.com.
Check out this AMAZING list of comedians and performers:
Will Arnett, Jack Black, Steve Carell, Kristin Chenoweth, Stephen Colbert, Elvis Costello, Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell, Will Forte, Fred Armisen, Ricky Gervais, Norm Macdonald, Christopher Meloni, Moby, Oscar Nunez, Mike Myers, Bob Odenkirk & David Cross, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Borat Sagdiyev, Adam Sandler, Amy Sedaris, Martin Short, Tony Sirico, Ben Stiller, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, Brian Williams
I mean, seriously, have you EVER see a list like this before. We’ve got the BEST of what true comedy has to offer. And on a personal note, you know I am floored at the idea of Carell and Gervais being in the same place at the same time.

Yes Ricky and Steve in one show? Awesome! More importantly… Jimmy Fallon and Paul Rudd in one night…oh I think I’ve died and gone to heaven…
I saw the commercial last night and immediately set my tivo. Do you think the people at my birthday party would mind me ignoring them and watching it?
That is going to be the most amazing night of television ever =]
DVR: set
I can’t wait for this! With this lineup, and Jon Stewart hosting, it should be great!

I wish I had Comedy Central… tons of guest stars including Arrested Development grads and a bunch of SNLers (especially my beloved Jimmy Fallon)? It’s like they turned happiness into a show.
Where was Carell? Did I miss him? I did ffwd it a bunch because I was tired. Great show…very funny.
he was on at about 9pm ET, pretty soon after Ricky Gervais.
(didn’t you just love what Ricky said about Steve at the end of his monologue haha)
