Thursday – my favorite day of the week. And time for a little tradition we have hear at GiveMeMyRemote.com called “Office Thursdays”. This is when I try to catch you up on all the latest Office gossip. Y’all know The Office is my favorite show, and if I’m not careful I could be a few posts away from making this an Office fansite. I try to keep some of the best stuff for my Thursday posts. But by the time Thursdays roll around I feel like some of this is already old news. What do you think? Should we keep Office Thursdays going?

This Week on The Office…
YahooTV has 3 clips from this week’s episode entitled “The Initiation”. I have absolutely NO self control. I promised myself all week that I was going to avoid the Yahoo clips. Yeah, I lasted about 10 minutes. Damn you Yahoo! So between those three scenes, and the one that was featured before John Krasinski’s Ellen interview, I feel like I’ve already seen the whole show. Scranton, PA Loves The Office…
The people of Scranton, PA don’t mind being the butt of the occasional joke, especially when the joke is coming from some of the sharpest and smartest comedy writers in the business today. Being the non-fictional town where the fictional Dunder Mifflin resides definitely has its perks. And the rumor is still out there that the cast is planning a trip to the actual Scranton to film a St. Patrick’s Day episode. If you need extras, I know a few bloggers that wouldn’t mind throwing on a little green for ya (even if it is whorish). (Scranton Meets “The Office”)
Why is Pam not with Jim?
A question women around the world want to know. He’s sweet, adorable, funny, and he’s her lobster. So what’s keeping them apart. Well check out Jenna Fischer’s latest MySpace blog, and let her explain. Here’s a little taste:
“People want to know why she hasn’t called Jim all this time but you have to look at it realistically…she just got out of a 10 year relationship with her high school sweetheart. When she called off the wedding, Jim had already been living in Stamford. She has no idea what he is doing there. Maybe he has a girlfriend but even if he doesn’t, what are they going to do? Have a long distance romance? I’m sure she’s thought of it but it’s awkward. She’s not the type of person who takes a lot of initiative.”

In the November 2nd episode (“Diwali”) the kids leave the office and head out to experience some cultural diversity. Yeah, and we know how that worked out for them last time. Steve Carell and Oscar Nunez are Animal Lovers…
I hope you all got a chance to check out the Night of Too Many Stars fundraiser that was on Comedy Central this past week. It was funny as all hell. One of the best skits of the night featured two of Dunder Mifflinites finest. Check out this hilarious clip featuring Steve Carell (Michael Scott) and Oscar Nunez (Oscar Martinez). Oh, and since Oscar is traveling with Gil in Europe for the next 3 months, this might be all we see of him for some time, so enjoy.

and yes, I’m developing a girl crush on Jenna Fischer. I keep seeing all these gorgeous pictures of her and I get really jealous. but then the jealousy passes and I just think she’s kick ass.
There is something that feels so festive about Office Thursdays.
Oh we must keep Office Thursdays! I always come to GMMR first thing in the morning because it gets me even more pumped for the show later on. Plus I love all the news being compiled together, even though I’m a fan you still have things on there I knew nothing about.
And I pretty much want Jenna F. to be my best friend.

GMMR, keep up with the Thursdays posts! I like to reread things sometimes and sometimes dont have time during the week to go thru alot of sites for THE OFFICE info. KEEP IT! 🙂
Please keep Office Thursdays going. There is always one or two articles that I miss throughout the week and TOT (as Jim Mosby calls it) is my way of catching up all all the good stuff. Plus, you always have the links to the preview clips, blogs, and articles. I could never get to most of those without TOT.
Ya, GMMR! Keep up Office Thursdays! I don’t have much time to surf the web for Office stuff so my office “update” is only once a week or so. Who is on the cover of the inStyle that Jenna and John are in? I want to make sure i get the right one before i spend 5 bucks on a mag thats full of adds. lol.
Absolutely keep Office Thursdays! It’s the best spot to get the skinny on all things Office. It’s a great summary of everything that’s happened over the week so I know I’m up to date. It makes me very excited for 8:30…
Well, I’m just going to say what everyone else is saying, but, yeah, definitely keep this up. I’m in grad school, and don’t always get to see all the TV interviews, and I don’t have much time to check all the entertainment sites, but I always come here. It’s very nice having everything conveniently laid out for me to read. So, yeah, keep doing this. Uh, please.
Who cares if we’ve heard some of it before?!? We Office-obsessed people can read it all over and over and still enjoy every reread as much as the first time. Office Thursdays forever!
