Studio 60 Gets Fulls Season Pick Up
November 9, 2006 by Kath Skerry
Good news for fans of Studio 60. The ratings challenged behind the scenes look at SNL (um..I mean NOT SNL) is rumored to have been picked up for a full season. Kevin Reilly, who I am starting to believe is my new favorite network exec, fought hard to keep the show alive. No word yet on whether Studio 60 will remain in its Monday 10pm timeslot, but many think it will…for now.

I am delighted. I really like this show, and I think it’d go well in the 9 central time slot when ER ends! Way to go NBC!!
There is a goddess!
I was hoping this would not get cut too soon, like a fine wine, this show needs time.
Yay NBC!
I was kind of hoping that they would put the show on hiatus while the figure out Peet’s pregency and find a better companion to the show (I wonder if Jordan’s pow wow last week on what to match up the UN show with was someone a dig at NBC for not pairing it up better) then bring it back after the New Year. But at least this is way better than being canceled.
This is fantastic news! Here in Canada, we can watch it a night early, which makes for a jam-packed Sunday evening of telly. It’s a great way to top off the weekend.
