2007 Fall Schedule – Plan Your TV Schedule
September 14, 2007 by Kath Skerry
The first step in planning your Fall season is seeing what the competition is like. Those of you without a DVR of some kind (oh the horror) have some pretty touch choices. Even those of us with a DVR are screwed as sometimes there are three or four great shows on at the same time (yeah, I’m talking to you Monday, Wednesday & Thursday nights). Looks like I’m going to have to get a 2nd TiVo (desperate times call for desperate measures). And yes, I realize I haven’t included a schedule for Saturday yet…it’s coming. I’m still waiting to see exactly what the networks are planning on airing during that time.
If a show has a next to it, then it means that I’m planning on watching it and probably talking about it on GMMR.

I just got a DVR. Still have to feel around for just a bit longer, but I’m ready
Man… I didn’t realize “Chuck” was on Monday nights for some reason. Not sure what I’m going to do! I have to watch “Prison Break” and “How I met Your Mother” so… I guess I’ll have to find another way to get the episodes of “Chuck” – crap!
Don’t remind me of how depressed I am that I can’t afford DVR or Tivo!
Done and done! CrazyGringa and I have our Fall Schedule all planned out!! I can’t wait! Some stuff will have to be DVR’d, but no problems there! Emily I am soooo sorry you don’t have DVR, it literally changed my life! I love it!!
OMG, you rock, I have been looking for one of these.
I so wish I had Tivo :(….
I don’t have a DVR at my place but my parents’ just got one! I’m going to have to take over their DVR, I think! Mondays and Thursdays are going to be especially busy TV nights. Though NBC Thursday’s comedies definitely take priority over anything else on Thursday.
Yeah, we actually created an excel spreadsheet showing which shows we were going to watch at which timeslots and which we were going to record to watch later. Big nerds, I know.
Thanks! This is great! Another site has been posting each night’s schedule each day this week and I’ve been copying it and saving it to my computer. It’s nice to have it all in one place.
I just have one question… where’s October Road?
[…] top of the site so keep checking back to see when news shows are added. I’ve also created a Fall TV grid that lets you see what’s on every night of the week – hopefully it will be helpful when […]
Glad to know I’m not the only person who has planned out their tv watching schedule.
I would like to see Chuck, it looks like it could be really good. but my husband and I already plan to watch How I Met Your Mother and Tivo Prison Break. I wish one of these shows would move to Tuesday as there is nothing on that night that I plan to watch.
Anyone have any ideas which shows are being shown on NBC, CBS, and ABC.com, so I can figure out which ones have to be taped and which I can catch up on later in the week? Oh, to be DVR-less. Woe to me.
Alyson, did you look at the grid above?
Yes, I looked at the grid above. I guess I wasn’t clear. I was asking about which shows they are going to play online for each network, after they’ve aired on TV. For example, I assume all the ABC shows are online, but what about NBC and CBS? I think HIMYM was online last year, but what about the other shows? Thanks.
Yay! Now i know when all my returning favorites and all the cool new shows are coming on. I somehow miraculously don’t have any conflicting shows. I guess i’m in the stone age though because i’ll be using my VCR (anybody remember those?) to tape shows at the 8pm slot due to my little guy’s desire to stay up till 8:30.
Why is Moolight on Friday night? Do they want this show to die? 🙁
[…] between Private Practice, Bionic Woman and Gossip Girl? Yeah, that’s not happening. And the Monday night TV schedule is a whole other […]
Because I’m sure you need more TV to watch, try out Beauty and the Geek and Men in Trees. I watch last night’s season premiere of Beauty and the Geek and it was GREAT (although I’m a little irritated that *SPOILER ALERT* the “hot guy” is an actor). Men in Trees is funny and sweet and sexy. What else do you have to do after Friday Night Lights? 🙂
Hmm… I was looking at the schedule, and I realized that most of the shows I’ll be watching will be on NBC. Chuck, Heroes, Journeyman….. All look good, but all are on a Monday night! As a student, I have a lot of homework…. my DVR is not going to make it through the season, I think. MY list goes as thus:
Chuck
Heroes
Journeyman
Bones
Reaper (?)
Pushing Daisies
Bionic Woman (?)
30 Rock
The Office
Scrubs
So much TV, so little time!
I do believe my Friday nights will be spent infront of my tv, praising my DVR’s recording ability….
As for other hits, like Ugly Betty and Grey’s Anatomy, I’ll just wiki those to see whats going on, so I have a general sense of whats going on. (Well, Wiki/GMMR those…)

For the office and earl, they are both hour premieres and you have them down for half an hour. fyi. =)
Yeah, but those are just for a few episodes. These charts are meant to serve for the full season. You’ll notice I have Scrubs on there and that show doesn’t premiere for quite some time.
