2007 is Here…Whoa

It’s 2007…really? Where did 2006 go? Well, since it’s here, and we have all have celebrated (some of us a little too hard), I guess it’s time to get back to the business of television. We’ve got new shows starting this week, and some of our favorites are back with new episodes after…well, forever!! I for one have to adjust to being back at work, at least for the next two days until I leave for California on Thursday – oh the charmed life I lead.
I’m already a bit behind (surprise, surprise). I know it’s 2007 but we still have to talk about my favorite TV moments of 2006 AND we still haven’t talked about Friday Night Lights yet, which I have come to love over the holiday break. Sorry, I think the past two weeks just totally got away from me with all the celebrating and family gatherings. We’ll get things back to normal around here…soon enough.
I just wanted to take a minute to wish you all a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR. Thanks for making 2006 such a wonderful year for me. I hope you will continue to hang out at GMMR in ’07, and I’ll do my best to bring the site to a new level in the new year. It’s going to be a lot of fun – that much I know.

Happy 2007 all! Hope this year treats all of you better than last… My days are all mixed up because i was looking forward to going into the chat room this afternoon, because i thought it was monday… 🙁 good luck getting back to work everyone- it’s been a rough morning for me already!

I’m looking forward to all the great news and surprises GMMR will bring us this year. It really is a great time for TV and I’m glad I have all of you to obsess over it with! 🙂 I’m definitely looking forward to GMMR’s review of Friday Night Lights. It’s become my new favorite show, just right behind The Office, and I hope it gains many more viewers this second half of the TV season.
hey GMMR were you in boston for new years? i went down near the aquarium for the fireworks. didn’t think they were too amazing. anyways, Happy 2007!

Awww, getting thanked for being a reader makes me feel a lot better about being such a procrastinator when it comes to work and school. Here’s hoping for another year of great blogging from you!!!
Also, I think you and Ducky might have promised us another podcast soon. Any chance that’s still in the works? I can really use it since the new semester is starting tomorrow.
