Steve Carell Gets ShoWest Honors

Congrats go out to The Office’s Steve Carell who was just named ShoWest’s Comedy Star of the year. The honor will be presented at the 33rd annual ShoWest Awards in Vegas in mid-March.

What makes Steve so deserving of this honor is the incredible range of comedic ability and agility that he effortlessly showcases onscreen,” ShoWest co-managing director Mitch Neuhauser said in announcing the honor. “He can play it broad and hilarious with the best of them, and even more impressive may be the uncanny way he can play it oh so straight and low key for laughs — and yet with a touch of pathos — as clearly evidenced this past year with ‘Little Miss Sunshine.’ “

All true. And something GMMR readers have know for quite some time.  Congrats Steve!!
