TV Podcast #7: GMMR & DuckyxDale Podcast

February 24, 2007 by

Podcast Episode 7 is here! Dan and Kathie are back and as chatty as ever. It’s been a big week of television. Someone flied, someone died. We lost a rack of Lamb. Someone walked among us but was not one of us. Dylan and Denny came to us in a vision. Someone threatened to kick Jim Halpert’s ass! Like I said, a big week…

Thank you for pointing out that Kevin makes fists as if to defend Pam when Roy freaks out. I hadn’t noticed (not really sure how I missed that, I’ve seen the scene so many times). Also, I agree with your (Kath’s) definition of smiling up to your eyes. As far as I know, that expression is used to refer to a “true” smile.

This is the first podcast of yours I’ve listened to, but…hello! So fun. It reminds me of when I was in college and my friends would go to a diner at 2 AM and sit around talking about our favorite tv shows for hours (film major here). The whole time I was listening, I just kept thinking “I want to play!”

Anyway. Since you brought up the ‘Sun vs Mon first day of the week’ debate, I just wanted to point out that the broadcast week starts on Monday. So the tv week starts on Monday, and ends on Sunday. Sorry Dan.

Desert island show? I am totally conflicted. As much as I am an Office Fan, I am going to agree with Dan and choose Buffy. No, wait, the Office. Crap. No, at the end of the day – it’s Buffy.

Kath – I loved that you called the guy “Elliot” on Studio 60 – I still do that even though “30 Something” has been off the air for like 20 years. 🙂

Great podcast as usual, and I can’t wait for the next one!

I’m not entirely sure what the rules of the game is but if we can have the complete series on DVD I’d go with The Dukes of Hazzard but if we are only allowed one season it would be the first (and, well, only) season of Wonderfalls.

And as a wise man once said, “On the seventh day he rested” Thus by induction, Monday is the start of the week.

Oh Dan…Monday is winning the race.

Thanks for all the feedback guys 🙂

I never said Sunday WAS the first day of the week, its the beginning of my TV week. How dare you side with Kathie! The nerve…

Scooter, do you want me to respond to your “god” comments?

    Another fun podcast.

I am going to have to go with Kath on the Sunday/Monday debate. Monday is the start of the TV week.

However I will side with Dan on the Desert Island TV series. Buffy just covers so much ground that if you had to watch just one show it would not get old. It is as funny as most straight comedies, it has all the drama and angst anyone could handle, geeky fantasy elements, and of course James Marsters as Spike.
