It’s so nice to see some of my favorite shows returning with all new episodes. Can’t wait to check out Ugly Betty and Grey’s Anatomy tonight – especially after seeing the clips below. Whenever I find clips over at MeeVee, I will be sure to pass them on (just let me know if I screw up the links, ok?)
Ugly Betty – Icing on the Cake Betty’s orthodontist becomes her date for Charlie’s birthday party; Wilhelmina tries to make Daniel’s hiring of Grace Chin for his father’s defense come between the Meade siblings; and Amanda attracts the attention of a designer.
Grey’s Anatomy – Scars & Souvenirs The race for chief heats up as a new competitor enters the race; tensions mount between Izzie and George; Callie must reveal a big secret; Derek treats a patient close to him; and Alex continues his work with Jane Doe (Elizabeth Reaser).
Andy Barker, P.I. — Season premiere on NBC
Comedian extraordinaire Andy Richter stars as Andy Barker, a painfully ho-hum accountant who is mistaken for a recently retired, hardboiled detective. When Andy assumes the identity of the crime investigator, hilarity ensues. It’s a pilot episode that may actually have wings.
Raines — Series premiere on NBC
Jeff Goldblum stars in this new crime drama with a flair for the supernatural. Homicide victims haunt Detective Michael Raines until each crime is officially solved. The first episode features a haunting that lingers long after the suspect is arrested. Find out what the heck is the matter with this ghost… besides the obvious.
October Road — Series Premiere on ABC
In this new ABC drama, a hit-it-big author heads back to his hometown and finds a tepid reception. It seems his family and friends aren’t so hip on the gossip he’s been penning, and they want a few explanations. Nick (the author) just wants to tackle a little writer’s block, and gets a whole lot more than he bargained for.
The Office – Traveling Salesmen & The Return NEWPEATS! Two great Office episodes are merged into one with all new footage. More on this in our weekly Office Thursday post.

Andy Richter was on Conan O’Brian last night talking about his new show…the clips they showed of Andy’s scenes were just ok. But they showed one clip of a scene with Tony Hale’s character and I almost fell off my couch I was laughing so hard. I miss him terribly from Arrested Development and will probably tune in just for him. Watch out for his scene with “Me and Mrs. Jones” playing…one of the funniest moments I’ve seen on tv in a while.
First of all, I can’t wait for The Office newpeats. Frikkin’ genius. Second, I can’t wait to see Buster! I miss AD. My brother watched the Andy Richter show online and said it was great, so here’s hoping he’s right. He loves AD and The Office, so he can’t be too far off.
Oops, that “Sara” above is me; thought I’d mention it for consistency’s sake. 🙂 Also forgot to say that I love the song “Me and Mrs. Jones,” so I’m excited for that. Thanks for the heads up!

Hey GMMR, have you heard anything about “October Road”? I saw a promo a couple nights ago, and really liked how it looked, and I was wondering if you knew about it at all…
To be honest, I heard it sucked. And I heard this from enough people whose opinions I trust that I’m not going to waste my time on it tonight.
ooo ok, thanks!!! Well, my plan for trying to wait for The Office to come back by preoccuping myself with new mid-season shows is really beginning to backfire!!!! I want April 5th!!!!!!!! 🙂
