Technical Difficulties

Sorry I’ve been MIA a lot over the past few days. I am having some MAJOR internet issues at my new place. I can’t seem to be able to stay online for more than 1 minute at a time. It’s so frustrating, especially given that I work from home and I feel like an asshat for having to tell my boss that I can’t get online – again. It sucks. They are supposedly coming by to check out the connection today, but who knows when they will be there. I wanted to let you all know that this is why GMMR has been pretty quiet over the past few days. Right now I’m at my local Starbucks sittting on the floor in the corner (this place is busy today). I’m going to have to head back home soon and wait for the cable guy. Welcome to my life!!
Hopefully my internet will be back later today. I have a good amount of work to catch up on (for my real job) so I’ll be working this weekend, and I’ll be updating GMMR too.

GMMR that sucks. I’m sorry to hear that. I have been one of those people refreshing the site every two minutes waiting for an update. Even with this news I’m not sure that I will stop. You could be back online soon and I don’t want to miss anything.
It sounds like you are a little stressed about your “real” job. I’m sure they understand. What do you do anyway? I know it’s something with the internet, right?
I have the same problem when it is windy, but i live in the boonies so they won’t come out to try to find the problem. ps you should have a write in contest as to what the office summer webisodes should be about. I think they should take a look at the camera crew briefing before they go to work each day like “Freddie, you are on the accountants… and no more taping kevin picking his nose…” I think they could do a lot with that idea.

Sorry about your troubles 🙁 I know how you feel, I work from home and it drives me crazy when my system starts messing up. I have to call my boss, and I’m always paranoid she thinks I’m full of it, and I’m just screwing around or something. Hope you get it all sorted out soon!
