I’m not sure where to begin. I know that Tuesday, February 27, 2007 will go down as one of the best days ever! By now most of you know that I was lucky enough to spend all day Tuesday on the set of my favorite TV show, The Office. It was just a fantastic day, and I’m so thankful to everyone that made it possible. So first let me start of by thanking Jennie from OfficeTally.com who worked hard to make this happen. Then to the cast, crew, producers and everyone associated with The Office who were kind enough to open the doors of Dunder Mifflin and let us in on the magic behind it all. A typical work day for you all was a real special day for Jennie and I, so thank you.
To sit down at this computer and try to capture the day is a difficult task. But knowing that it’s a day few will experience I’ll do my best to share it with you. Since I know some of you have lives and don’t have hours to spend reading this, I thought I would break it down into two sections. Today is my diary of the day. What we did, where we went, who we saw. In Part 2, I will get into all the fun moments we had with the cast. Get settled in because this is incredibly long (that’s what she said) and incredibly self indulgent as this is my one time to capture the day as it unfolded.
When Jennie and I first arrived on set, we were a little shell shocked that we were actually there. I mean, we saw the Dunder Mifflin sign but it still seemed so bizarre that we were actually headed on to the set. I was trying to take it all in while also trying not to crash the rental car into the gate. We were instructed where to park and noticed the trailers right next to us. Yeah, that’s when it started to become real.

Hey friends…I just wanted to apologize for my lack of posts lately. I’m going to get the hang of this traveling to the West Coast thing, I swear. No TiVo has been my downfall. I haven’t been able to write about some of my favorite shows because, well, I haven’t seen them. Believe me it’s killing me. I promise things will be back to normal around here soon. Thanks for being patient with me during this kinda crazy time of my life.
Tonight is The Office panel at the Paley Festival and I couldn’t be more excited. Next week is Prison Break. Not a bad few weeks, right? I’ll be back later with some updates. Ta ta for now.
Celeb Sightings – Hot Boy Edition

Everytime I’ve been to L.A. I’ve had pretty good luck when it comes to random celebrity sightings. I was getting a little nervous about this trip though. I got here Sunday, and with the obvious exception of the cast of The Office, I hadn’t seen one random celeb…until lastt night. Well, that’s not entirely true. I did have a celebrity sighting on Wednesdaty night, and it was good one. Ironically enough it was John Krasinski. I know, right? I grabbed some dinner and was walking back to my hotel and he was stopped at the red light as I crossed the street. Thankfully he was on his phone and didn’t see me (not that he would have recognized me anyway I’m sure). I was sporting some kickass sweats and a Dunder Mifflin hat. I was looking good…really good.
Tonight I had a really good celeb spotting. I was driving down Wilshire in Beverly Hills and none other than Ryan Gosling was next to me. Ryan Gosling!!! He’s one of my favorite actors. I think he is amazing. Oh and he’s pretty easy on the eyes too. I hate that I was by myself and didn’t have anyone to share my mini-freak out with. I called Ducky but he didn’t answer. Oh well, it was a good moment. And in honor of my Gosling sighting, I give you one of my favorite Gosling moments ever. Check this out…now this is a kiss.

Smallville’s Producer Speaks

By now I think you all know that I missed the Smallville train, and have never seen the show. But I know that some of you are big fans of the show. And who am I to keep things from you. So in honor of be branching out and trying hard to not make it all about me, I thought I would pass along a link to an interview with Al Gough, executive producer of Smallville. Enjoy!
Here’s a little taste…
With the recent success of the Green Arrow storyline and the hero-laden Justice League episode on Smallville, do you expect additional superhero spin-off series?
There aren’t any plans at the moment. I mean, the Feature Division at Warners has various superheroes in development, and a lot of it is clearing all the rights for those characters. It’s one thing to get them for one episode, but to get them for an entire series is an entirely different thing. Also, I think its an issue for the (CW) network to try and figure out their identity. So I think at this moment, the stars aren’t aligning for us to do that. How many more seasons of Smallville do you anticipate?
We all feel we have, legitimately, a good two more seasons worth of stories. Then I think it’s time to pack it up to the fortress and go home.

It was a cathartic cry of relief and joy when Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres broke down on her show earlier this week. I am a huge fan of Ellen and cried along with her. Hey you…yeah you without the heart. You’re the only one that won’t get a little weepy after watching this.
