Finally…Finally!!
April 18, 2007 by Kath Skerry
Sweet Jesus SANJAYA finally went home tonight. It’s about damn time! Joining Sanjaya in the bottom three tonight were LaKisha and (get this) Blake. Totally didn’t see that one coming, and neither did Blake. Mr. Lewis was sent back to the coach as LaKisha and Sanjaya sweated it out. As Seacrest was babbling about the number of votes received yada, yada, yada you could tell that LaKisha was mentally preparing herself to go home. I think she really thought she was gone. But the girl lives to sing another day. Let’s hope we get to see the return of the LaKisha we fell in love with during Week One.
So that’s it…Chris Daughtry’s “Home” accompanied Sanjaya’s video goodbye. And for the final time we were forced to listen to Sanjaya sing on the Idol stage (well at least until the finale). Bye Sanjaya – I’d like to say it’s been fun, but…

It’s about time!! Thank goodness he is finally gone.
How dare all of you! I wrote a long eulogy for my man Sanjaya. It’s a sad morning in the ducky house.
In other news Kath, you’ll be happy to know I downloaded “Home” by Chris Daughtry last night because it’s grown on me!
So long! Farewell! We won’t miss you Sanjaya. I was so shocked about Blake being in the bottom 3 but I don’t think that’ll happen again for awhile. Martina McBride was fantastic! I got chill bumps while she was singing. Anyone else notice she is shrinking? My goodness, she has to be a size 0 by now! She was the highlight of the show. Wish they would have let Bucky sing though. His new song is good.
Good riddance!!!!
And I was not shocked to see Blake in the bottom three. I thought it would come down to him or Phil – and Phil flat out had a better performance this week. Like LT said, it probably will be a few more weeks before that happens again. I just don’t get the Blake obession though, I can’t stand to watch the mannerisms when he sings.
I am on the Jordin bandwagon all the way.
Sorry all, but I’m a tad bit sad that Sanjaya is gone. Don’t hate me, but I thought he made it interesting! But maybe it’s also because I’m eager to see Phil Stacy go – I’ve been wanting that big-eyed baldy to go buh-bye for quite a while now…
And as much as I love Melinda, Jordin is blowing me away! I think Melinda would make a great R&B idol, and Jordin would make a great Pop idol. Can’t they both win?
dada, I’m with you on the Sanjaya wagon and the Alien Stacey wagon.
