HEROES is Back Y’all

After what has probably seemed like forever to most of you HEROES is finally back tonight on NBC. I am happy to report that I have finally caught up with the entire series (thank you NBC.com). I know, I know I should have been watching from episode 1, but I’ll be honest with you – it didn’t grab and hold my attention like I thought it would over the first few episodes. Perhaps the hype was so big there was no way for it to live up to my expectations.
Well I was getting really tired of not being able to talk about HEROES with Ducky on the podcasts* so I thought it would be in my best interest to get caught up. I’m so glad I did because I really love the show. It reminds me a bit of Alias in the way that it’s escapist fantasy for me. It’s a really fun hour of TV and I can’t wait to watch it tonight. As much as I was excited to watch the shows I was equally as excited to go back and read all of Julie’s HEROES recaps. It killed me not to read them when the shows were airing – she cracks me up.
So the show is back and I will be watching and for the first time I can actually talk about it with you tomorrow!!

OMG, it was soooo good tonight. I totally bought the shapeshifter parts, and I cried about Peter. Also, how hot is Nathan?? I envy Natalie…. When he was talking to Linderman, I kept hoping one more button would come undone.
Seriously, why can’t we have four tv seasons–run through all the episodes, then switch to the next season lineup, run through all of those, then to the next season? I hate the long breaks. But it does make it worth it when it comes back. Just blabbering on. Stopping now….
