BREAKING NEWS: THE OFFICE Reruns on TBS in ’07
June 21, 2007 by Kath Skerry
So here’s some news that might interest just a few of you. I just got word from a contact that THE OFFICE reruns will start airing on TBS this Fall. TBS will have the rights to show 1 hour of THE OFFICE a week (so 2 episodes) from seasons 1-3. In 2009 it will expand to up to 12 plays a week, and at this time TBS will also have access to more Office related content such as broadband, wireless, etc. Smart move TBS!!

Oh so very exciting!
NO WAY NO WAY NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow – that seems early for it to be syndicated already! But that is great – if it means more of The Office on TV more days of the week, I’ll take it (even if I do have the DVDs with every episode 🙂 ).
I posted this with you as a source on the NBC messageboard :0

I’m getting a little more info, but I was just messaged to say that in the Fall TBS will have the rights to show 1 hour a week (so 2 eps) from S 1-3. In 2009 they will have up to 12 eps per week to show…and also in 2009 they will have rights to broadband, wireless and other similar content.
YES! Ooh, they should pair it with Friends. Then I could just watch TBS all night long!

Yay! This is good news!!
hey Kath, thank you so much for the news! Does this mean that “The Office” is guaranteed to be renewed through 2009 on NBC? Because I would assume that the canon of original episodes would have to increase in order for reruns of 12 hours to be feasible on TBS. Many thanks again!!
I would think so Bales. I don’t have 100% confirmation on that, but it would seem that way, right?
found this article about it!!
