Lane Garrison Drinking & Driving PSA
July 30, 2007 by Kath Skerry
On May 21, 2007 Lane Garrison (Prison Break) Garrison pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and drunken driving for a December 2, 2006 crash that killed 17-year-old Beverly Hills High School student Vahagn Setian, a passenger in his car. He could face up to six years and eight months in prison.
Garrison has made several statements accepting responsibility for the accident including this PSA warning against the dangers of drinking and driving. The video is chilling but serves its purpose well.

I saw that video earlier and it is eerie. I’m glad that he is using his experience to try and warn people of the dangers of driving drunk. he obviously has learned something from the experience. it is just sad that someone had to lose their life in order for him to learn that lesson.
Question though, that isn’t the video from his actual accident, is it?

Wow! I know this was a horrible thing that he did, but he deserves some credit for taking responsibility for his actions, something most young Hollywood types are not doing these days.
Definitely, one of the most powerful PSA’s I have ever seen.
