What to Watch…Monday, July 30, 2007
July 30, 2007 by Kath Skerry
It’s been a crazy couple of weeks. I’m finally home back on the East Coast after being away for just over two weeks in California. Thanks for your patience with me as I haven’t been able to update GMMR as much as I would have liked while I was away. Over the next few days we are going to be back in full swing with all my scoop from Comic-Con, as well as reviews of some of the my favorite Fall pilots. We are days away from August, which means just a month away from September which of course means we are getting closer to the premiere of the Fall television season. So while I’m wishing away my summer months, I just wanted to say thanks for sticking with me and GMMR!
GMMR SPOTLIGHT: My Boys
Tonight MY BOYS returns to TBS with all new episodes. I became smitten with this PJ and her poker buddies last season and I’m co excited to have the show back tonight. TBS is treating us with two new episodes tonight. Will you be watching? Leave me a comment and let me know.
“The Promise of a New Season” (10/9c)
A past kiss between PJ and Brendan continues to stir up tension. Elsewhere, Kenny scores a new girlfriend (Nicole Sullivan), and Andy acclimates himself to suburbia and its tiresome commute.
“Off Day” (10:30/9:30c)
PJ is called on to be a guest on a local-cable sports show. In other events, Stephanie tries to persuade PJ to go on a sojourn to Italy, and Andy grapples with his long commute to and from suburbia
Saving Grace
Grace and the team investigate the murder of an oilman, using Lt. Yukon’s troubled brother as an informant. Meanwhile, Grace sets out to prove her mettle by challenging angelic Earl to a wrestling match
The Closer
Racially motivated gang warfare threatens to erupt when two Hispanic teens are shot and killed. As Brenda launches an investigation, the cousin of one of the victims sets out to avenge the murders.
Kyle XY
Kyle’s visions help the Tragers look on the bright side when Stephen’s estranged father suffers a stroke and goes into a coma; Emily is dismayed by Jessi’s lack of progress in therapy.

I will definitely be watching My Boys tonight. Like you, I was totally smitten with last season. I also caught the marathon on TBS yesterday which makes me so excited for tonight’s premiere!
I will be watching! I have been waiting for the new season since early this year. I also watched the marathon and was reminded what a “real” show this is. I am sad that we only get 9 episodes. 🙁
Ditto to Katie and Tippy, can’t wait for tonight!
My Boys! My Boys! Yeah!!
I will be watching, too! And can I say? I missed you so freaking much! I can’t wait for the next podcast!

Love My Boys – I’ve been waiting for tonight for a while! Really? Only 9 episodes? That’s just not acceptable.

I watched My Boys last night, but wasn’t crazy about the premiere episodes this season. I guess I just wanted a little more from the opening. But I love Jim Gaffigan and he makes up for any short comings.
Also, thanks for posting the guest lists for the nightly shows. I would have missed John Leguizamo and Marc Broussard on Conan last night if it weren’t for you!
I loved My Boys last night… great cast! It sucks that it is only getting 9 episodes- what’s up with that?!
