What to Watch…Wednesday, August 22, 2007
August 22, 2007 by Kath Skerry
Sniff, sniff. My first Wednesday without SYTYCD and I already miss it. I’m going to get through it, I have faith. There’s not a ton of must see TV on for me tonight. And I guess this is as good a time as any to remind you that these “what to watch” picks aren’t always shows that I’m going to be watching myself. I wanted to put that out there in case you thought I was actually going to be watching ANCHORWOMAN tonight. I won’t be.
What I will be watching is Senator Barack Obama on THE DAILY SHOW tonight. I can’t wait.
Top Chef
The chefs must shuck, chop and whip in a culinary-based relay race. Chef Geoffrey Zakarian is the guest judge.
Last Comic Standing
The final five stand-up comics showcase their routines. Alonzo Bodden, ANT and Kathleen Madigan serve as talent scouts.
Rescue Me
The Gavins attend their first AA meeting; Tommy turns to Colleen for information about Janet; Richie tells Franco the truth about Natalie; and Lou mulls revenge on his cousin.
Anchorwoman
Debut: A swimsuit model becomes a local-news anchor at a Texas station in this reality-comedy hybrid filmed at the CBS affiliate in Tyler.

LCS lost me as a viewer when Doug Benson got kicked off last week…obviously, the audiences choosing the winners are a bunch of morons.
I am so excited for the Daily Show! The husband really wanted to go, but alas, we could not afford the trip up to NYC. He works at the Capitol and has never seen the guy! lol…
Can’t wait to see Obama on The Daily Show! And unfortunately I will be watching Anchorwoman. It’s normally the kind of show I run from. But I used to be friends with that girl, we went to middle school together. So naturally I have to watch at least one show.

Am looking forward to the Daily Show too, but I also can’t wait to see The Colbert Report tonight – they’ve been building up his interview with Richard Branson so I’m curious to see exactly what happened! As much as I like the Daily Show, I really hope Stephen Colbert and his show win some Emmys this year.
No SYTYCD…I’m sad.
I am looking forward to the Colbert Report myself… the Colbert-Branson INTERVIEW TRAINWRECK was apparently not supposed to air but after a fan report leaked the details and blogs/newspapers picked up the story, it became CAPS worthy 🙂
And Obama on the Daily Show… can’t wait!!
Since SYTYCD wasn’t on, my mom and I went to see Adam Shankman’s movie, Hairspray. It wasn’t my show, but it was still great! Who knows what I’ll do next week for my tv fix, though. They need to start The Office sooner.
I wish I had cable so I could have watched the Daily Show 🙁
