What to Watch…Thursday, September 6, 2007

I know things have been a little quieter than usual around GMMR lately. I’ve been keeping busy with my real job, and in my downtime I’ve been watching pilots, and working on my Fall preview. It bums me out that it’s taken me away from GMMR but I’m hoping it will all be worth it. But we’ve got a few more updates this morning, including some prize winners from some of the contests we’ve been running lately!!

So as for tonight…not a big night for TV, but there’s always something to watch!

NFL Football Kickoff
Are you ready for some football? The NFL season kicks off tonight with the Colts vs. the Saints on NBC. Listen, if football is going to kick THE OFFICE off the air for the week can’t it at least be the Patriots playing? It goes against the way I was raised to cheer for the Colts tonight (even though I do have a small secret crush on Peyton Manning…shhh, don’t tell Tom Brady – I don’t want him to get jealous.)

Big Brother
“Eviction Night”
If you are a fan of BIG BROTHER then make sure you don’t miss tonight. The houseguests don’t know, but there’s a double eviction tonight. But that’s not going to be the only surprise for some houseguests tonight.

Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style
“Debut”
Tim Gunn (“Project Runway”) and “fashion accomplice” Veronica Webb provide makeovers to style-challenged women in this eight-episode unscripted series. First up: Tomboyish Rebecca Pennino discovers a vibrant personal look.

Mad Men

Don’s mysterious past comes back to haunt him; Peggy celebrates her new work success, but not all of her colleagues and co-workers are pleased or impressed; Salvatore’s relationship with a client is questioned. (By the way, I’ve managed to post this episode description without reading it. I have a few episodes to go before I’m caught up an I don’t want to be spoiled.)
