SUPERNATURAL…Too Late to the Party
September 12, 2007 by Kath Skerry
One of the shows I’m really bummed I never got into was SUPERNATURAL. I tried to watch it when it first premiered, but I’m a big baby and thought it was going to be too scary for me. But from the vocal and rabid fanbase it has developed, I wish I had given it a fair shot. I really liked what I saw at Comic-Con, but this isn’t a show I can jump into this late in the game (and it’s not like I have the time or DVR space anyway).
I know many of you are SUPERNATURAL fans….well you’re in luck because it just so happens that my BFF, Ducky, is a huge SUPERNATURAL fan. He talks about the show a ton on his site…hell, he was even invited out to Vancouver earlier this year for a set visit to watch them film the season finale. So if you are looking for all the latest on Sam & Dean, make sure you check out DuckyDoesTV.com. If you head over there now you can check out some SUPERNATURAL season premiere pics as well as some shots of the new SUPERNATURAL girls Katie Cassidy and Lauren Cohen. I know these ladies will be causing much angst for the Winchester brothers this season (see I’m not totally clueless). And I also know that until fans get to see these girls in action, they are causing much angst to SUPERNATURAL fans.

Yeah I watched half a season. It was good but too scary for me.
I didn’t get into this show until the summer. Me & my BFF are totally into it now. I even forgot to check on BB8 HOH last night because I was watching S2.
Wow, thanks for the pimp Kath! Go ahead, call me a plug whore, I deserve it.
A plug whore? I would NEVER call you that (especially in front of a room full of people and my future TV boyfriend Zach Levi) 🙂
Hey, it’s never too late! Seriously, you should try it again; you’re missing out on one of the most realistic, intricate brother relationships — hell, one of the best relationships, period — on TV right now. I started watching for the supernatural aspects, but what kept me coming back was the strength of this relationship and the lengths the boys are willing to go to look out for the other (including selling their soul so the other can live!). And then, of course, there’s the pretty. *g*
I think you should give it another try. 🙂
