EMMY Red Carpet – Watch Along with GMMR

Since I’m here, we might as well be talking about the EMMY red carpet arrivals. Who’s dress so we love, hate and just how hot are our TV boyfriends looking tonight. I’m going to be watching E!’s red carpet broadcast with Ryan Seacrest, Guiliana DiPandi, and E!’s TV diva, Kristin Veitch. If you’re watching, share your red carpets though with us in the comments.

Oh holy hell – what is up with Ellen Pompeo‘s hair?! I hope she can stop payment of the check to her hair stylist. That is pretty horrible hair. And I always love when Ellen is on the red carpet and you can hear that Boston accent. Go Everett, MA!!!

We’ve got about 15 minutes until the show starts, and I’m starting to get a little nervous. Please let at some of my favorites win tonight…please, please, please.

Katherine Heigl is stunning in white – maybe she’s getting ready for her own later this year. I wish I could say the same for her co-star Sandra Oh. Sandra’s dress is beautiful but her makeup makes her look really washed out. Speaking of Grey’s, McSteamy (Eric Dane) and his Neutrogena girl wife, Rebecca Gayheart have just arrived looking beautiful. I am assuming that she’s not doing any red carpet interviews tonight. Christina Aguiliera is still managing to hide her pregnancy tonight.

Yumm…Neil Patrick Harris is swoon worthy tonight as always. He just hinted about a nice threesome happening this season on HIMYM. He also mentioned that CBS will showing more online only “racy” content this season. Can’t wait! Heidi Klum of PORJECT RUNWAY and her husband Seal are such a fun couple. I think I would like to go our for drinks with them.

Whew…ok, that pregnant lady was John Krasinski’s assistant (I’m back to breathing now). And let me just say that Kristin V. should be interviewing John because this is the 3rd time that Guiliana has interviewed John and the 3rd time she asked him about his Conan internship. OK now on to the important stuff…HOT DAMN HE LOOKS GOOD!! I’m not usually a fan of the bowtie, but my boy can pull it off.

Ok so you know what I just said that a pregnant women was mislabeled as Rashida Jones online…well yeah, John Krasinski just arrived with a VERY pregnant woman…I mean VERY pregnant. They took pics together and she was dressed pretty glam so I don’t think it’s his publicist. Um, someone calm me down…I mean seriously!!!

Some of the cast of HEROES is talking with Kristin – Nathan Petrelli, Hiro, DL and Kristen Bell (I can’t wait to see her character). She just hinted that Kristen’s HEROS superpower is electric…can’t wait.

Finally another OFFICE star – Steve Carell and his beautiful wife Nancy have arrived. It should come as no surprise that Steve is sweating like a maniac. Marcia Cross had twins a few months ago…seriously? She looks stunnying. I’m worried about her going outside thoug – she is almost transparent.

The smart boys are here: Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert arrived with their wives. Portia diRossi and her wife Ellen DeGeneres arrived with their own camera in tow for the Ellen show. DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star Felicity Huffman always looks fab on the red carpet. I always forget how sexy she is since she plays is so plain as Lynette on DH.

The newbies of HOUSE have joined Kristin on the red carpet. And as a die note, I was just checking new pics online and there were some of a pregnant actress mislabeled as Rashida Jones…ok that is NOT funny. My heart literally just stopped. Denis Leary is looking very handsome tonight with a pink/grey tie. Turtle just arrived on the arm of a beauty. And ladies and gentleman our first look at Jenna Fischer!! She’s wearing a floral strapless dress and her hair looks amazing (I can’t see the whole dress)

Getting another look at Kate Walsh who has a flawless body. Speaking of bods, Jamie Pressley of MY NAME IS EARL isn’t showing off as much skin as she normally does despite looking fabulous after having a baby 4 months ago. Rebecca Romijn is looking pretty in pink, but now that she plays a tranny on UGLY BETTY I can’t help see her as anything but.

Another UGLY BETTY star is looking great tonight. Ana Ortiz who plays Hilda was interviewed by an E! contest winner. And WOW Kate Walsh is looking va va va voooom in red. I can’t say that I love her frizzed out side pony, but I think those with more fashion sense will probably like it. What a month Ms. Mrs. Walsh is having. She just got married, her new show is premiere next week. Oh and I just got a full length look at Hayden Panettiere’s dress – hated it!! She has a great bod and she’s hiding it underneath this tent.

The HEROES stars are all here and taking up the carpet. Ryan is now talking to Hayden Panettiere who is looking a little too orange. Kristen Bell just arrived with her new co-star Masi Oka. Kirsten is looking FABULOUS in blue. I can’t wait to post some pics of her looking how. And not that’s I’m complaining, but where is Krasinski…not one shot of him yet (ok I guess I am complaining.

Sigh…one of my favorite people alive, Jon Stewart, is on the carpet with his wife. I’m looking forward to seeing Jon hosting The Oscars again this year. THE CLOSER’s Kyra Sedgwick is wearing an “interesting” dress…the waistline jump out to match the bottom of the dress in her Oscar de la Renta dress. I definitely love the top better than the bottom. 30 ROCK’s Tina Fey looks like a sexy mama in a little black number.

Rainn Wilson who you might know from THE OFFICE is the first Dunder Mifflinite interviewed tonight. Ryan confirmed that Rainn will be doing something fun during the show tonight (with Kanye West). We’re seeing some really adorkable pics of Rainn from High School. Good luck tonight, Rainn!!

HEROES star Ali Larter has to stand on the red carpet and watch herself in the infamous whip cream bikini from Varsity Blues. Seacrest got a little nuts with the whip cream – he almost ruined Ali’s dress. Calm down there Ryan. Eric Mabius of UGLY BETTY has finally learned how to do hi hair, and it’s not doing the over-spikey thing. He always looks so put together, and his wife has a beautiful gold dress on tonight.

Debra Messing looks fantastic but sometimes I think she dyes her naturally red hair. Chandra Wilson is lookin’ fabulous. Sometimes she’s a little more miss than hit, but she’s all good tonight. Minday Kaling just arrived and is looking fierce…I can’t wait to read all about her dress on her blog. And BJ Novak just arriced sporting the Ryan Howard scruff and a hot blonde on his arm. Who is that?!

Edie Falco of THE SOPRANOS is the first red carpet interview for E! red carpet host and EMMY’s host Ryan Seacrest. I still can’t believe that Seacrest is hosting the pre-show before his Emmy gig…that’s a hard working boy.

Eva Longoria of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES really doesn’t ever lok bad. Not doubt she’s smokin’ tonight.

T.R. Knight of GREY’S ANATOMY just laughed off his chances of taking home an award tonight. TR has that same nervous tick about him that George O’Malley does. The first GREY’S interview with no questions about behind-the-scenes drama (nice job, Kristin)

Sylar in da house!! Zachary Quinto of HEROES still scares the bejesus out of me – I just can’t help it. He’s a little dressed down tonight, but still looks handsome.

Jennifer Morrison of HOUSE is looking gorgeous – a very Katherine Heigl look for her. I’m not used to seeing her blonde – I wonder where her former-fiance and co-star Jesse Spencer is.

Marc’s UGLY BETTY partner-in-crime, Amanda, played in real life by Becki Newton is on air with her husband. I think Becki is beautiful but I can’t say that her dress does much for her. I looked quickly and thought she was preggs.

One of the first stars to appear on the red carpet just happens to be one of my new faves, UGLY BETTY star Michael Urie. So adorable as Marc, Wilhemina’s assistant. He’s doing some adorable swing dancing…I’d dance with you sweetie.
