It’s Friday night so it’s all about the lights, the vampires and baseball.

Red Sox vs. Indians | 8pm on Fox
The Sox and the Indians kick off Game 1 of the ALCS tonight at Fenway Park. I’m going to be at a wedding shower but I’m thinking they’ll find a way to show the game, especially since the groom is a die hard Sox fan. GO SOX!!!

Friday Night Lights | 9pm on NBC
“Bad Ideas”
The start of the school year finds Tami struggling without Eric’s parenting help. Elsewhere, Matt and Landry have difficulty adjusting to new lifestyles. Smash, on the other hand, basks in accolades from coaches, scouts and fans.
