OK TV Addicts, I Need Your Help!!!

Here’s the deal. I think you all have a pretty good sense of how much TV I watch on a daily basis. And if you don’t, well let’s just say that I watch more than the average TV viewer (and we’ll leave it at that). There are very few shows during the week that I TiNo (as in TiVo and watch at a later date) because I like coming on line and talking about the shows with all of you. But, primetime TV viewing is going to be a wee bit difficult over the next week or so, and that’s where I need your help.
With my Red Sox in the World Series, I’m not going to have time for a lot of my regularly scheduled programming this week. The Series starts on Wednesday night in Boston, and while I’d normally be watching “Pushing Daisies”, “Private Practice” and “Dirty Sexy Money” I’m going to be watching the game. Assuming the Series goes 7 seven games (although I’m hoping we can take down the Rockies in 4), that means 7 nights of TV shows that I’m going to be missing.
So I’m wondering if you all could help out. I’m going to be looking for a few people to do mini-reviews of TV shows starting Wednesday. Nothing too in depth, just a paragraph on what you thought of the show good or bad. Then we can open it up for other GMMRers to debate.
What do you think? You think this might work? It won’t be everyday, but I hate to not talk TV on the days after baseball games. I’d love to hear your suggestions.
Also, if you’re interested in participating and being one of the GMMR reviewers, leave a comment and let me know what shows you watch religiously and which ones you’d like to volunteer to review.

I’d love to do one! I watch just about as much TV as you, heh so my list is quite long! So, I’ll narrow this list down a little – these are the shows I know alot about and watch religiously:

I’d be happy to do a paragraph on next week’s episode of Chuck. Unless you need someone for Moonlight, I think all of your other shows are covered by people that posted before me. 🙂

I can definitely help. In fact, and this might just be good timing, but the voters on my blog (the 10 or so I have 😉 ) decided they want me to recap some shows and post them. So I’ll be doing it anyway (TWSS).
Just let me know what show you’d like me to cover (if you’d like me to cover one too 😉 . I’m pretty sure we watch the same things on Wed. Thurs. and Fri. nights. Of course Pushing Daisies, The Office, and Friday Night Lights get multiple night viewings so..that’s a bonus 🙂
I religiously watch “The Office”, “Heroes”, “Prison Break”, “The Big Bang Theory”, and “Life”.
I’d love to help, but my lack of sleep will be thanks to Pap (we need more dancing!), Beckett (who can do no wrong), Youk (who should have been MVP of the ALCS), Papi, Manny being Manny, Mikey Lowell (Sox MVP), Dustin (aka Rookie of the Year), JD Drew (who earned his salary Saturday night), Jacoby (the firecracker who sparked the Sox), Okey Dokey (so good he has a dance named after him), Tek (oh Captain, my Captain), Lugo, Coco, Wake, Schill, Dice-K (so glad he came through Saturday night), the bullpen band (when does their CD come out), Tito, and the rest of the players and staff of the ALCS Champion Boston Red Sox (soon to be World Series champs…sending Colorado back to shovel snow!!!)
If you need someone to do something on Friday Night Lights, just let me know! I’m sure you’ll still do something on The Office, but if you need anything on that, I can do that too.

Interesting how many people list Journeyman as a favorite considering the ratings! I really like it. Please have someone recap. I think this is a great idea and maybe you’ll find some new contributors!
I’d definetly be interested in writing a little review/recap. The shows I watch religiously are House, Pushing Daisies, Chuck, and the Office, and I really try to watch Bones but sometimes I have work conflicts. And if there are any others that need reviewing I would watch them too.
I’ll do a paragraph on “Moonlight”! That show has become a main addiction for me. 😉

Since I don’t have cable it’s the only show I can keep up with in a timely manner (well, anything on CW really but it’s the only show I make a point to watch every week)
Well, I’ve got Chuck already so it only seems fair to let someone else take a shot at the others, but you know I’m always willing to pick up extra duty when you’re busy, and that’s a standing offer!
