It’s Snowing
November 20, 2007 by Kath Skerry
It’s snowing here in Newton, MA.
I don’t get sentimental about the snow. I hate it. Snow means I’m forced to wear gloves and clean off my car. Ugh.

chuck recap???? it was soooooooo good!!!
Tom – Check out the ‘So Say We All’ post. The Chuck recap is coming for sure…just waiting for SB to put the finishing touches on it.
Hahaha… I’m from Tewksbury/Belmont…. and I hate the snow too. In my opinion, if it doesn’t snow enough to cancel school/work, then it shouldn’t snow at all.
Also, I come to this blog like, 34 times a day. I love it. I love “Office Thursdays” (come back soon! ahhh) and your awesome re-caps and discussions about Office (especially your poetic one on Jim Halpert:)
And you say you are getting into Battlestar Galactica, hopefully you’ll do re-caps of them?! And perhaps a discussion on Razor? 🙂
And finally, I love that you watch Friday Night Lights! I’ve been trying to recruit all my friends since last season. 🙂

It’s a TV show”. Sigh.
And you say you are getting into Battlestar Galactica; hopefully you’ll do re-caps of new episodes…when they come back… in APRIL. (Thank you, SciFi.com, for being so frakking awesome). And perhaps a discussion on Razor is soon to come?

Ah! Sorry about that! I’m not so good with technology. I tried to delete my first post and it won’t let me 🙁
Stupid snow…it’s messing me up.
You’re all bastard people for saying these things about my glorious beautiful white fluffy greatness. Kath, you know I love me some snow. I’m giddy beyond belief. I went outside here downtown and just stood there for a few minutes then went back to my desk and listened to Xmas music for a bit. Ahhhhhhhhhhh.
PS – You’ve lived in New England your whole life, you should be used to this by now.

I’m in Phoenix and I wish it would snow here…once 🙂 I’m sure it’s different living in it though, planning to visit new england area on my honeymoon next spring, can’t wait!!
Oh wow. The high today here is definitely 80 degrees.
I full concur on the snow. At least you got fluffy stuff instead of cold wet, slushy snow. Bleh.
And I thought I was the only one! Everyone around here got excited…but I know it just means people will drive 10 miles an hour because they forgot how to drive in the snow. I’m south of Boston, and believe that snow shouldn’t come for another couple of weeks. But it’s gone now, so that should brighten your day a bit. That, and Mike Lowell resigning!
Greetings from Newton Highlands! Love the snow, but I am very happy it started after I got to work. Hey, how about that Mike Lowell? 🙂
I’m in Phoenix too. No fluffly snow here. But I’m with you on the snow. Great to vacation and visit some snow but I have to get back to warm weather in like a week or I’m complaining.
Wow! Snow!? It’s 70 degrees today here in Indiana!!
I used to think I missed the snow so much once I moved to Florida, but now I know, I just miss the idea of snow. I like thinking of white fluffy flakes, but not the cleaning off of cars or slipping all over the roads. I do miss seeing it though…a lot.
I will just sit and be jealous of your snow viewing, then continue to wear short sleeves.
I want snow. But then again, I am in the south and we get in once every five years and it goes away after a day.
But I still love it.
Cause yeah, today I am wearing a tshirt and flip flops. same thing I was wearing in august.
..but it’s so pretty! And it’s “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” tonight so maybe that will cheer you up! I haven’t watched it in years so I’m psyched for popcorn and jelly beans.
I agree with Emily. i can think of two maybe three times it’s snowed since I left high school – twelve years ago. It’s an extremely big deal even if it’s about 1/8 of an inch. Actually just falling out of the sky and not sticking will send us all outdoors to look.
Also still in the t shirt and shorts. It’s supposed to be down in the fifties tomorrow but back up in the seventies next week.
Sorry you don’t like it though. I don’t like the heat and I’ve been here all of my life and still haven’t decided to like it. So maybe I can see how you can not like the snow.
Did you go to North or South? If South did you know the Office boys?
Lighten up princess. It’s 78 and sunny down south. That should warm you heart right up.
Excellent items from you, man. I have take into account your stuff previous to and you are simply
too excellent. I actually like what you have got here, really like what you’re stating and the
way in which wherein you are saying it. You make it entertaining and you still take
care of to keep it wise. I can’t wait to read far more from you.
This is actually a terrific site.
