CHUCK & LIFE Get Full Season from NBC
November 26, 2007 by Kath Skerry
According to reports from E!, NBC has granted both CHUCK and LIFE the back nine, meaning both shows have received a full season pickup. Congrats to both shows!! Now we just need some good news on the end of the strike and I’ll really be happy.
As we discussed earlier, the other NBC freshman shows JOURNEYMAN and BIONIC WOMAN have yet to receive full season orders…which in light of this announcement is really telling.

Yay! That means 3 out of 4 of my favorite new shows got full season pickups (Chuck, Life, Pushing Daisies). Now I just need a post that Moonlight picked up the back 9 as well and I’ll be as happy as can be. Assuming the strike ends soon enough to film all those episodes, of course.
Chuck! Chuck! Chuck!!! I have no other words…
Very excited to hear Chuck is getting a full season…love love love that show! And yes, very good news that NBC is continuing to talk about finishing the season…….fingers crossed!
I am really happy about Chuck! Now I just hope Journeyman will be picked up, as I am tired of new shows that I fall in love with being cancelled after the first season.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Chuck and Life!!! My 2 favorite shows of the fall hands down!! They both have the hooks at the end that make you want to watch next weeks episode right NOW! I love the quirkiness of Charlie Crews and all his Zen talk. How they were trying to solve the murder of a victim who was exactly like Charlie. I am looking for someone who’s not not paying his taxes. I’m not looking for someone who is paying their taxes….clever!
And what can you say about Chuck except YUMMY! I love the 3 main characters and I really was torn when the “Bryce-Box” opened up. Captain Awesome–loved when his sister got the truth stuff and went off on Awesome.
Yea, my DVR is very happy now. If we could just get the Office back on the air…..
This is great news! (Except for the Journeyman part, bummer.) Here’s to a long and happy recapping career! 🙂
