those are the type of nominations i like to see… the office, friday night lights, pushing daisies… now if they would all just win!
Glad to see all the love for The Office! Also happy to see FNL and PD in there as well as Flight of the Conchords. I love that show!
Oh, Yay for “Dexter”, “Pushing Daisies”, “FNL” and “The Office”! Putting “The Office” against “Pushing Daisies” is HARD – I don’t think I can make that decision.
I love how 3 of the 6 nomiations for comedic episodes are for TO….
But the Pie-lette was AWESOME and so, it is a tough call.
OMG, I am so excited about the Flight of the Conchords love! That show makes me about piss myself.
I don’t understand why they picked that particular episode of Lost. I had to look up which one it was (the one where Desmond has that huge time-travely flashback thingy). I guess it was a pretty good one.
The only new show of those that I watch is Pushing Daisies, cuz I don’t have super-duper cable. I was gonna express some love for Chuck, but I guess it’s probably the actors that sell me the most on that show. PD has some amazing lines of dialogue.
These are SO much better than the Globes noms. Glad to see FNL, The Office, Lost, Mad Men, The Wire, CYE, FotC, Damages and PD…so basically, all of them LOL Just wish BSG could’ve gotten some 🙁
Flight of the Conchords! Yay! I’m wanting this to win, whereas I would usually want the Office. If I am completely honest I don’t think The Office was on good form for season 3 and the Conchords were just brilliant in every aspect.
These noms are much better – The Office, FNL and Lost all got some recognition, along with Pushing Daises Also, The Office was nominated for a Producers Guild Award (those noms were announced last month). Next week is the nominations announcement for the SAGs – let’s hope we see these 3 shows included in those nominations as well! Isn’t awards season fun? 😉
Evidently, these writers actually watch TV. Finally, ‘The Wire’ is getting some love. It’s clearly superior to anything else on the tube.
Besides the obvious joy of seeing the writers of The Office get some recognition, am thrilled to see Damages and Mad Men on the list. If you haven’t seen Mad Men, find a way to do so (it was available in On Demand under AMC) as it is nothing short of brilliant.
