People’s Choice Award Winners (TV)
January 8, 2008 by Kath Skerry
This isn’t your mama’s People’s Choice Awards. The WGA strike changed the format of the show – no red carpet, no audience, no celebs. It’s just Queen Latifah all on her own doing her best to fill time in between announcing the winners and introducing their pre-taped acceptance speeches. Moments from past PCAs are being shown as a nice retrospective and personally I find it more entertaining that the than the awkward presenter banter we are usually subject to. It’s new, but as they say…they show must go on (unless of course it’s the Golden Globes).

Me and the people are disagreeing quite a bit here – “Pushing Daisies” and “Gossip Girl” should have won and the world knows it!
I didn’t watch it, but I am disappointed by the winners.
At least House won something
I’m going to be a sore loser and say “booooo!” Pushing Daisies should have taken the “Favourite New TV Comedy” award, and they know it!!! I don’t watch any of the “Favourite New TV Drama” noms, but I have seen “Gossip Girl”, and think it should have taken that spot.
Boo People’s Choice! Booo!
