These are the Days of our Blogs…
January 31, 2008 by Kath Skerry
Hey, I’m not sure if you heard or not but LOST is coming back tonight. For some reason ABC isn’t promoting it that much, and it’s pretty much stayed off the radar of bloggers like myself. Weird, it used to be a pretty big show.
Of course I kid, and I’m really excited that you all get to see the premiere tonight. It’s fantastic…as is next week’s episode, which is perhaps even better than tonight’s. If you haven’t read my vaguely non-spoilerish thoughts on tonight’s premiere then by all means, read on…LOST is Found Again in the Season 4 Premiere.
But there’s a lot of time between now and when LOST airs tonight, so why don’t you waste some of your workday, school day, or whatever it is you’re doing catching up on what my blogger friends are talking about today.
Second night in a row that I missed AMERICAN IDOL, and second night that I didn’t really care. Sad that I’m boring myself with my indifference. For those of you still interested, I’m once again sending you over to my friend Aaron who has once again managed to find the snark in the painfully boring auditions. (TV with MeeVee)
Amrie over at TheTVAddict.com is excited about tonight’s season premiere of LOST. Check out her top ten mind-blowing LOST moments. (The TV Addict)
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are reunited and it feels so good. Sadly, it’s not behind the Weekend Update desk but rather an Odd Couple-esque comedy called ‘Baby Mama’. I think that maybe these two talented women are a bit wasted in this one…and I don’t mean wasted as in drunk (now that would be fun to watch). (Glitterati Gossip)
For some reason my PROJECT RUNWAY recaps seem to run away from me. I watch the show, take notes, and then by the time I can get a recap up and written it seems like it’s no longer relevant…not that they ever are. So if you are looking for a witty recap of the last PR, check out Jennifer Eolin’s recap (they’re better than mine anyway). (Jennifer Eolin)
While some of us are just getting by with our blogs, Dan from DuckyDoesTV.com has hit the big time. In addition to writing for his own site, Dan is now a contributor to AfterElton.com. Check out his latest recap of THE JANICE DICKSON MODELING AGENCY. (After Elton)
CASHMERE MAFIA and LIPSTICK JUNGLE are strangely similar, and by that I mean they both want to be SEX AND THE CITY. Looks like the people behind the scenes of both shows are still trying to live of the tat of SATC too. (Buzz Sugar)
If you are a frequenter of United Hollywood, you probably saw that our ‘Adopt a Writer’ project is getting some buzz. We have a long list of writers volunteering to participate and those in charge are working really hard to get bloggers and writers paired up as quick as they can. You’ll be hearing more from me on this one soon. For now, check out Adopt a Writer.

I’m very surprised! ABC was promoting the premiere of Lost bigtime from my end. It was all about the two-hour premiere, plus the recap on Wednesday night. It was all the buzz. I wonder if there was an oddity on how they promoted it and I just happened to be watching at the right time… Now, I think there were less web ads about it, unlike new eps of Desperate Housewives…
I was being sarcastic.
I don’t even know, fellow!) continued to write in the same vein, it is interesting people!
