SCRUBS Moving to ABC?
February 28, 2008 by Kath Skerry
The Hollywood Reporter says that negotiations are underway to move NBC staple SCRUBS to ABC next season. The long suffering much much applauded comedy was supposed to end air its series finale this year but that may not be the case now. Details are still being worked out but sources say that ABC is looking to pick up at least 18 episodes of the show. Zach Braff and other current cast members are said to all be on board for the move and another 18 new episodes.I’ll keep my fingers crossed for all you SCRUBS fans out there. Maybe ABC will give the show the promotion, and maybe even the ratings it deserves.
Good news or were you ready to finally say goodbye to SCRUBS?

That’s promising… can Friday Night Lights come too? 🙂
Huh. I knew there was talk of ABC airing the final episodes. I didn’t think it was really likely they would just air the last handful of eps of a show, but a full season would make more sense from their perspective. That said, I do feel that Scrubs is heading towards a conclusion this season, what with Kelso retiring. I actually was kinda looking foward to a big finale this year.
This isn’t the first time this show has changed networks. I believe it started out on abc.

I am ready for it to be done, and I am one of the biggest fans there is. They have played it out. I started the season dubious at best, and half way through the first show I said “no. done.” I haven’t even watched ONE full ep this season. Flat, flat flat. Why don’t shows ever know when to stop???? It brings down the overall brilliance of the show. Still love me some Zachy, though….. :>)
I am all for it. NBC has always sort of pushed Scrubs to the back burner, when really it is a great show and could be an even bigger hit for them.
I would rather them pick up Friday Night Lights!
