What to Watch…Thursday, February 28, 2008

I’m looking forward to April when all my favorite Thursday night shows return, but until that time I’m kind of loving the new Thursday night lineup.  For tonight, I’m going to suggest you give Eli Stone a shot if you haven’t yet.  It’s delightfully charming and while not dumb it does give your brain some time to relax after Lost.

Survivor: Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites | 8pm on CBS
“That’s Baked, Barbecued and Fried!”
Not sure exactly what’s happening on tonight’s Survivor but I’m going to go out on the limb and say that there will be bitching, moaning, bad weather, deceit, a challenge for immunity and someone will be going home.  Was that a spoiler? Oops sorry.

American Idol | 8pm on Fox
Four contestants—two women and two men—are voted off in the season’s second results show. (Note: Stay tuned to GMMR as we’re going to be polling YOU to see who might be going home tonight.  Start thinking about it.)

Lost | 9pm on ABC
“The Constant”
Sayid and Desmond run into turbulence on their way to the freighter, causing Desmond to suffer unusual side effects. Charles Widmore: Alan Dale. Penny Widmore: Sonya Walger. George Minkowski: Fisher Stevens.

Eli Stone | 10pm on ABC
“One More Try”
Eli revisits an old case that he unscrupulously won for an automaker, but his efforts could be undone by a series of courtroom hallucinations; Jordan welcomes two new lawyers to the firm.

Lipstick Jungle | 10pm on NBC

“Chapter Four: Bombay Highway”
Wendy arranges a posh movie-premiere party and enlists Victory to create a dress for the lead actress. Elsewhere, Nico comes clean with the gals about her affair as the lawsuit heats up.
