Although it seems that I’ve had less time for BIG BROTHER these days, I’ve been enjoying the show so much more since they split up the ‘soul mates’ and let each contestant play for his or her self. That’s the Big Brother that I know, and it makes the game so much more interesting.
That being said, the ramifications from the once paired twosomes played heavily into this week’s nominations and eventual eviction.
James and Chelsia were originally paired as partners and then became romantically involved – well if sex in the Big Brother house which is equipped with hundreds of cameras can qualify as romance. A partnership of any kind puts a big ‘ol target on your back, and James and Chelsia learned that first hand when they were both nominated this week. But after James won the POV and took himself off the block, Chelsia was left to fight the good fight against other nominated houseguest, Sharon.
The problem I had is that Chelsia didn’t fight the good fight. Knowing she was goign to go home Chelsia chose to throw a tantrum like a baby all week, going as far as smashing eggs and yelling nonsense about other players just to be spiteful. Even her in-house boytoy, James, found her childish behavior unacceptable. Chelsia continued to show zero class by trash talking the other houseguests right up until the very second she walked out of the BB house to meet the Chen Bot. Chelsia claimed she was going out with a bang. I think she went out looking like an asshat embarrassing herself, her friends and her family.
I say good riddance. One less houseguest means my boy Ryan sticks around for at least another week.
HOH Competition…
None of the houseguests seemed particularly sad about Chelsia’s departure, and were all ready for this week’s HOH competition. A series of questions based on answers provided by Big Brother’s at home audience determined this week’s winner – Natalie.
I was happy to see Natalie win her first HOH competition. She has become such a strong player since Matty was evicted. I still find her annoying and still think those boobs should be listed as lethal weapons, but I’m kind of pulling for her this week. Maybe because I know that Ryan is relatively safe with Nat in charge.
James and Josh are the ones who should be worried this week. But will Natalie put both guys up for eviction or will she risk trying to backdoor one of them? I’m no longer a fan of James, but I think he deserves to stick around another week. Josh should have been gone in Week 3 as far as I’m concerned so I’m more than ready for this guy to leave.

I could not agree more with your identification of Chelsia as an asshat! She acted the fool big time!
All Chelsia did was embarass herself. She was Bitter with capital “b”! I’ve been finding it boring lately, so maybe Nat will spice things up. She won the HOH fair and square, so lets see what she can do with the power this week! 🙂
I can’t stand Natalie. Her voice could peel paint off the walls and knowing that we will hear even more of it with her as HoH makes me cringe a bit. With that said, I believe that the majority of the house underestimates her abilities. She listens and processes every word that people say and every detail within the walls of the BB house. No, she’s not the sharpest knife in the drawer with many things but that girl is crazy perceptive.
I’d like to see Sheila win the whole thing because of the fact that she changes her mind more than I do and NO ONE HAS CAUGHT ON. She makes judgy statements without any recall that she behaves the same way and not one person calls her on it. She flip flops more than my summer sandals and I love it. She is constantly adjusting her “strategy” and I think that it’s hysterical because unlike Josh, who tries to be all sneaky snake, she will openly ditch one person for another to get her further in the game. Genius.
I second the Natalie comment. She is so… we’ll i can’t think of a word to describe just how much she bugs me. She’s such an idiot ( d.u.n- done- wtf?!!), and her voice is like 200 nails on a chalkboard to me.
For the first time on any season, there’s no one in this house i’d like to see win! All of them are asshats to me. Ryan’s a hump on a log, Shelia’s a whinner, James is cocky, Joshuah is crazy, Sharon’s dumb as the day is long, and Adam is well, Adam. I don’t want to give up on the show but i’m pretty close!
