Rob Thomas Leaves 90210
April 15, 2008 by Kath Skerry
My excitement for the upcoming 90210 spinoff just dropped significantly with word that show runner Rob Thomas has left the series to spend more time on this two other pilots. According to E!, Rob won’t even have time to take another pass at the pilot script citing time constraints and his commitment to ABC.
I’m not going to say that I’m not going to watch 90210, but knowing Rob Thomas was at the helm gave me faith in the remake that I’m just not sure is there anymore. I don’t think I was as excited about 90210 coming back as the idea of the creative team behind VERONICA MARS being back on the air. Only time will tell how this will all play out. Meanwhile, I’m sure The CW is more than a bit anxious to find someone new to take over so the show can get back on track.
It was fun while it lasted.

The creative team will still be on the air again… and on shows that look to be awesome. I think you’ll dig GOOD BEHAVIOR, Kath.
PS: Have a great time on your vacation!
