SNL: The Japanese Version of THE OFFICE
May 18, 2008 by Kath Skerry
The best moment of last night’s season final of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE was most definitely the digital short during which Ricky Gervais’ introduced us to the original version of THE OFFICE. Nope, it’s not his UK version but rather the original, original OFFICE which of course was from Japan. Jason Sudekis as Jim Halpert kills me.

Best episode of the season. Yay Steve Carell!!!
Gad me laughing out loud! Too funny. I was dying for an actual cast member to make an appearance though. 🙂
jennyL, lol Steve was there!
Oh my, watching Jason Sudekis play Jim was awesome. He makes probably the best Jim faces second to Krasinski’s of course. (3rd to Mr. Martin Freeman)
I want Jason to play Jim’s brother in a future episode!
That was hilarious, as a brit I am supposed to think our version is the best but I actually prefer the american office.
This was absolute genius! I laughed my butt off! It was completely perfect =) I loved hearing Dwight call Jim a “baka”. And Kristin Wiig did such a good job, too! It was just hilarious!
oh yeah, HI-larious…
my fave part was Keenan as Stanley with a crossword..hahahaha
