From Sterling Cooper to Dunder Mifflin
August 5, 2008 by Kath Skerry
Talk about opposite ends of the spectrum. On one hand there’s Don Draper – competent, self assured Creative Director for Sterling Cooper. And then there’s Michael Scott, the anything but Regional Manager of Dunder Mifflin – Scranton. These two men have managed their fair share of men, but never have their worlds collided until now. Well almost.
EW’s Michael Ausiello has just revealed that Rich Sommer, who plays Harry Crane on MAD MEN will be making a special guest appearance in the season premiere of THE OFFICE. According to Ausiello, “details about Sommer’s role are being closely guarded—an Office insider would only reveal that his character “ties in with a surprise twist”.
A surprise twist? On THE OFFICE? Why does that fill me with fear and dread? Ok Dunder Mifflinites, any guesses on how this mysterisous mad man might be involved?

Pam’s new love interest. Yeah i know i’m a bad person for even suggesting such a thing.
If its any consolation, i hope i’m wrong.
I think this surprise twist may have more to do with Michael and Jan. Did she really go to a donor?

hmmm, I’m thinking he’s going to be replacing Ryan.
but I could be wrong, of course.
Maybe he’s a family member to Andy or Angela….or Jim or Pam if we’re talking another Office wedding.
One of Jan’s attorneys?
OK – now I’m getting excited! If it’s a twist, maybe it’s Pam’s teacher, or somebody from art school? I hope it’s not a love interest!!
And by the way – LOVE this video! Less than a month until S4 DVD folks!! 🙂

I think he is Jans “donor”, But I think it will turn out that Michael is the daddy. We’ll see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jan’s ex husband….AND father of her baby…..
@TaraNYC oh that’s good! We can finally meet Gould!
I think he’s going to show up in a flashback of Jim and Pam’s wedding. He’s the official who marries them when they elope. A girl can dream, can’t she?
