Happy Monday! It’s hard to believe we are in the Fall TV season given the beautiful summer weather we are having here in the East. But Fall TV it is and I couldn’t be happier. If you missed my day-by-day grid of Fall TV, check it our here. I’ll be breaking each day of the week out soon so keep checking back.
But it’s all about taking it one day at a time, so here’s a few highlights of tonight’s TV.
Gossip Girl | 8pm on The CW | New!
Blair is ecstatic to have a royal beau, but a scheming Chuck is not pleased with this development. Meanwhile, Serena and Dan keep their rekindled romance a secret; and Nate learns there are drawbacks to having a May-December romance with a married woman (Madchen Amick).
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles | 8pm on Fox | Season Premiere
In the second-season opener, the wake of the Jeep explosion brings danger for Sarah and John, while Agent Ellis handles the aftermath of Cromartie’s massacre. Elsewhere, high-tech CEO Catherine Weaver (Shirley Manson) has big plans for her corporation.
Prison Break | 9pm on Fox | New!
Michael and his crew have one day to find the other five cardholders or they’ll go back to prison. But Mahone is obsessed with seeking vengeance, and Michael and Linc fear that he’s losing focus. Meanwhile, Wyatt (Cress Williams) has Bruce Bennett in his custody, and is using a truth serum to find the crew’s whereabouts; and T-Bag finds the gateway to his new identity and his future.
One Tree Hill | 9pm on The CW | New!
Conclusion. Lucas and his fiancée plan their ideal wedding. Elsewhere, Nathan practices improving his basketball skills with assistance from Quentin; Brooke seeks help when she learns her store is in danger; Jamie spots Skills kissing his grandmother.
Raising the Bar | 10pm on TNT | New!
Jerry’s efforts to defend a murder suspect are thwarted when a key eyewitness is stuck in Guatemala—and possibly holed up there by crooked inside forces. Meanwhile, Michelle takes part in her first murder trial; and Richard works on a racially explosive assault case.
CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock| 9pm on ABC
Fans interact with country stars in highlights from the four-day event. Performers include Trace Adkins, Rodney Atkins, Bucky Covington, Billy Ray Cyrus, Faith Hill, Julianne Hough, Alan Jackson, Jewel, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Kellie Pickler, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Josh Turner, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Gretchen Wilson and Dwight Yoakam. Julianne Hough, Kellie Pickler and Taylor Swift are the hosts.
