What to Watch…Tuesday, September 16, 2008

Welcome to a fantastic night of new TV!  We’ve got the season premieres of HOUSE and THE BIGGEST LOSER, all new episodes of newbies like FRINGE, PRIVILEGED and 90210, and the season finale of BIG BROTHER.  It’s an exciting night so I hope you’ve got those DVRs ready to go!Let’s get to some of the highlights of tonight’s schedule…

House | 8pm on Fox | Season Premiere
As the fifth season opens, Wilson returns from an extended leave following Amber’s death and announces he’s leaving Princeton-Plainsboro. House thinks it’s a terrible idea, and he isn’t shy about saying so. [GMMR: Check back soon for more on tonight’s season premiere of HOUSE!]

The Biggest Loser | 8pm on NBC | 2-hour Season Premiere
Season 6 kicks off with a family theme: Teams of husbands and wives square off against parents and their adult children. The contestants are surprised at home by trainers Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels, and then face their first challenge.

90210 | 8pm on The CW
At Kelly’s request, Brenda replaces Tabitha as director of the school musical, but the two friends soon find themselves at odds over Kelly’s relationship with Ryan. At the Wilsons, money concerns prompt Dixon to get a job at the Peach Pit, but Annie is more worried about her disappointing date with Ethan. Elsewhere, Naomi confronts some difficult facts about her home life

Lincoln Heights | 8pm on ABC Family | Season Premiere
In the third-season opener, Eddie and Jenn are away when thugs break into the Sutton house and hold Cassie and Charles hostage during a police standoff. Elsewhere, Tay struggles with his music and dance moves, so he seeks advice from Ruben.

Big Brother 10 | 9pm on CBS | Season Finale
Tonight either Dan or Memphis will be named winner of BIG BROTHER 10 and walk away with $500,000.  But tonight the guys get questioned by the jury of their former houseguests who hold the key to the votes.  I’m ok it either of these guys win because I kind of dig them both.  But Dan hands down would get my vote!

Fringe | 9pm on Fox
The bizarre death of a woman who gave birth to a rapidly aging baby after an hours-long pregnancy challenges the nascent partnership between Dr. Bishop, Peter and Olivia, who reaches out to Massive Dynamic’s Nina Sharp for answers.

Privileged| 9pm on The CW
Megan attends a glamorous gala, where she snubs her sister Lily for being poorly dressed; Rose is hurt when she sees her former beau (Andrew J. West) at the event with another girl; and Megan has to keep the girls from getting arrested after they’re caught driving without a license.

Greek | 9pm on ABC Family
Tired of the poor treatment they’ve received, the pledges at Kappa Tau fight back. Elsewhere, Evan schemes to use Calvin and Michael’s relationship to help a brother who’s failing.

The Shield | 10pm on FX
Corrine finds herself in legal trouble; Vic works an angle to make himself valuable to the Armenian mob; Tina targets a producer of adult entertainment.
