Are the Actors Going on Strike? Perhaps.

Say it ain’t so. Another TV strike? It’s looking like it might just happen.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, “SAG is set to move a step closer to striking. The guild’s negotiating committee is expected to approve a measure Wednesday asking for the rank and file’s approval for a work stoppage, and the measure probably will pass, according to SAG sources with knowledge of the meeting. ”
I’m not going to even pretend to know what’s going on or whether or not the strike will come to pass, but I am nervous. Another TV work stoppage? Can we handle it? I think not.
More on the developing story here.

NoooooOOOOOOOOO!!!! The first strike was devastating enough, but another one??!
It seems like the world is out the get TV enthusiasts these days.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Hopefully SAG will notice how little was gained from the writers strike and think better of this.
as someone who earns a living from tv and film production in Vancouver, it will kill us!! plus the advertising market will be crushed as well.
fingers crossed that this doesn’t happen!!
I don’t see this strike having the support that the WGA strike had. SAG better think long and hard about this before they go through with it. With the way the economy is, I don’t see much sympathy coming from the general public. Even if it’s for the “actors who don’t make much money.”
You’ve got to be kidding! With the economy as bad as it is people are out of jobs, homes and so on and these ACTORS don’t make enough? oh boohoo………..you know what? It’s time to go back to RADIO…..and none of them are worth all that anyways!
