PRIVILEGED Scoop: Love & Family
October 14, 2008 by Kath Skerry
My girl Korbi got the scoop on one of my favorite new shows of the season, PRIVILEGED, right from the source – Executive Producer Rina Mimoun. If you aren’t watching this show (Tuesdays at 9pm on The CW), then I think you’re missing out. Give it a shot tonight and let me know what you think.
Here’s an excerpt from Korbi’s scoop. Head over to her site to read much, much more.
Megan’s love triangle is about to blow up: Jacob has a secret, which will be revealed. And sweet Charlie — who has finally decided to close the door on Megan — is going dark. “She will be deliciously
clueless, not understanding what happened to
her best friend,” Rina revealed. “And we have a fabulous young actress named Alice Greczyn coming
in as a potential love interest for Charlie.”
As for Will, make no mistake, the spark between him and Megan is definitely there. “We feel that Will and Charlie are very much our Noel and Ben,” Rina laughed, referring of course to the famous Felicity characters. “Clearly Charlie is Noel
and Ben is Will. They’re both similarly aloof, sort of that handsome
playboy thing where you’re not sure if they’re going to come around.”

I really love this show. It’s so cute. Much better than 90210 that comes on right before it. I’m still not in love with the character and actress that plays Lily. But yay for Charlie getting a love interest!
Hmm…well, I always liked Ben more than Noel so it doesn’t surprise me that Will is like Ben and Charlie like Noel.
Sounds like some really good things are ahead. I’m interested in this secret Sage is keeping.
I don’t really think they should be compared to Ben and Noel. I always liked Noel, but I knew Ben was the one for Felicity. I also loved Ben too. How can you not love Scott Speedman. I really don’t like Will and I hope Charlie is the one Megan ends up with. Charlie is too cute as well.
I must say I am really loving this show. It’s a nice, I wouldn’t say replacement for Gilmore Girls, but some of the quick banter reminds me a little of the show. I’m excited to have a new female led show, that has an interesting smart, funny, kinda dorky main character. I just hope it can make it through this year.
Oh and Jen, I couldn’t agree more 90210 sucks. I was watching it really only for the old 90210 people and now that I don’t have the CW and have to watch my shows online, I don’t feel like making the effort to watch it.
