Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Wednesday, January 14, 2009

Wednesdays are going to be interesting soon enough, but for now there still a little bit ‘eh. The highlight for me will be the second night of IDOL, and I might watch a little LOST rerun because, well, it’s LOST.

American Idol | 8pm on Fox
Auditions continue as singing hopefuls strut their stuff before the judges, hoping to me invited to the Hollywood Round. [GMMR: The first night was a decent mix of talent and circus side show. I think it makes sense to wait until tomorrow to talk about the first two episodes of IDOL. But if you want to share your thoughts on last night’s ep, I’m not going to stop you.]

“Notes on a 7th Grade Scandal”
Christine reverts to junior-high behavior when she recognizes the father of Ritchie’s classmate as her former tormentor.

13: Fear Is Real | 8pm on The CW
“The Accused”
The mastermind punishes a contestant; two contestants get up close and personal with rats.[GMMR: Just wondering if anyone is watching this show.  If so, drop us a comment and let us know what you think.]

“Burn It, Shred It, I Don’t Care”
Patty suspects there is more to Daniel Purcell’s case than simple murder; Ellen secretly assists the FBI in their attempt to flip Tom Shayes and use him against Patty. [GMMR: I’m happy to report that I not only finished the first season of DAMAGES last night, but I also got caught up on the first two episode of this season.  Fantastic show.  We’ll talk about it more tomorrow.]
