Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Friday, January 16, 2009

I’ve heard from many of you that you really enjoy our daily ‘TV Spotlight’ post.  But I’ll be honest with you, I feel like this post is just too small to properly express my excitement for tonight’s TV. We’ve got a one-two punch on awesomeness tonight that is making me giddy with excitement.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS premieres on NBC.  And coming from a die hard fan who just finished watching the third season finale last night, I can honestly say that you won’t be disappointed by a nano second of this season.  I can’t wait to watch it all over again with you.

And then we have the premiere of the final season of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA.  Are you kidding me?  It’s finally frakking here! I’ll be honest, BSG intimidates me a little bit. I feel like there are so many passionate fans out there that I’m almost afraid to talk abot it or analyze it as there’s a good chance I’ll mess something up.  But that doesn’t mean I won’t enjoy every last bit of it.

Psych | 10pm on USA
“Lassie Did a Bad Thing”
Shawn and Gus must prove Lassiter’s innocence when he’s on the hook for a murder inside of the Santa Barbara Police Department.

Battlestar Galactica | 10pm on Sci Fi | Season Premiere
In the aftermath of humanity’s gravest discovery, Kara Thrace is left to contemplate the full extent of the Hybrid’s grave prophecies. [GMMR: I just wanted to point out that rumor has it that we are going to be meeting the final Cylon tonight. After all this time. If you have guesses you can of course feel free to share them.  I can’t even guess at this point because I don’t want to set myself up for disappointment.]
