Paley Fest 2009 Lineup Announced
February 18, 2009 by Kath Skerry
It’s PaleyFest ’09 – my favorite television event of the year. Once again I’ll be making the trek from Boston to L.A. to attend some of the fantastic panels offered. Fingers crossed that I’ll be able to get the passes I need. Once that set it’s about finding a hotel, finding a flight and I’m off.
If things works out, I’m hoping to attend…
- Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog*
- Dollhouse*
- The Big Bang Theory*
- The Mentalist
- Desperate Housewives
- Unaired Pushing Daisies with Bryan Fuller*
- Battlestar Galactica / Caprica: A Look Back and a Look Ahead*
Please visit The Paley Center Website for more informationn. Tickets sell out fast so don’t miss out. Premium packages are available.
Anyone else planning on going?
The full Paley Fest Lineup is available after the jump.

I wish I could go just to see the last three episodes of Pushing Daisies! I HATE ABC for not airing them.
No NPH at Dr. Horrible? Aw 🙁
You never know. He might be there. If he hasn’t confirmed yet that probably means he has a conflict in his schedule, but he might work that out. I’m still holding out hope.
The probably can’t guarantee NPH’s avail this early with his HIMYM schedule.
That should say “they” not “the.” That’s what I get for trying to respond before having my second cup of coffee!
No Fringe GMMR? What about JJ? Any reason to be in the same room…lol.
I’d LOVE to go to Dr. Horrible or BBT, but I’m on holiday in Vegas that week – I’d extend the trip and go to LA for some of the later events, but I’m heading back to Toronto to see Kings of Leon and nothing is worth missing that show!
Honestly, the one I’d most want to go to is Desperate Housewives, which I’ve never seen ever, and only because of Gale Harold. I’ve been devouring Queer as Folk on dvd for the past month and I’m completely in love. Is he even still on DH?
I sooooo want to go for the BSG, DH, and Dollhouse panels….so tempted.
I want to hit Dr. Horrible, though I’m disappointed that NPH isn’t scheduled. It’s hardly fair to host a panel without the title/main character.
(Though that didn’t stop them from allowing Wenty to ditch the Prison Break panel. And JKras the Office one.)
Gonna try to make it for Fringe, that would be incredible. I know J.J.’s not scheduled to be there, but c’mon, it’s his new baby. Until he finds a new baby, that is. Plus, a perfect night to get in a plug for Star Trek!
I’d go just to see Simon Baker…hmmm…I don’t read much here or elsewhere about The Mentalist and I know some think it is a Psych ripoff. I disagree and love both shows. The Mentalist is more of a drama vs. Psych’s comedy style and Patrick J uses a lot more of his ‘powers’ in reading people. Okay, enough touting, try The Mentalist if you haven’t already as it really is good.
I may have to look into going to a couple of these…
