Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Friday, March 13, 2009
March 13, 2009 by Kath Skerry
I love the internet. I do. But you know when I hate the internet? The day after a night in which you missed a ton of TV. Last night yours truly was babysitting and wasn’t able to catch much in the way of television. I missed GREY’S, PRIVATE PRACTICE, 30 ROCK, and was only able to half watch THE OFFICE (ugh). So how am I suppose to go to my usual internet haunts without being spoiled. It’s like I’m walking through a landmine of spoilers. Yikes!
And if my DVR wasn’t stacked up enough with shows from last Friday (BSG and DOLLHOUSE!), tonight I’m heading to NYC for the weekend for my friend’s wedding (Congrats KG!). Not sure when I’ll be back on Sunday but I’ll try to play catch up then.
My apologies if I’ve fallen a bit behind here on GMMR. Sometimes real life gets in the way of this funny little side hobby of mine. Hopefully things will get back on track next week. At the advice of Ducky I’m not going to stress. It’s just TV…wait, did I just say that?! Ha ha! Thanks for your patience and understanding!
Now on tonight’s TV…
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles | 8pm on Fox
“Today is the Day”
Jesse has a flashback to a mission aboard her submarine, the Jimmy Carter; John and Sarah make plans to leave their house.
Friday Night Lights | 9pm on NBC
“Game of the Week”
Dillon is in the spotlight when the Panthers’ game is selected as the nationally televised game of the week; Riggins decides whether to meet with a college coach; Tyra sees the truth about Cash and finds herself in a desperate situation.
Dollhouse | 9pm on Fox
“True Believer”
Imprinted as a visually impaired woman, Echo must infiltrate a cult to rescue a woman being held against her will.
Battlestar Galactica | 10pm on Sci Fi
“Daybreak”
In Part 1 of the 2 part series finale (ugh), Admiral Bill Adama calls for volunteers for a final mission. Who will volunteer to risk their lives for Galactica?
The Tonight Show | 11:35pm on NBC
Tonight’s Jay Leno welcomes American Idol’s Kara DioGuardi, Randy Travis and some hick named John Krasinski…never heard of him! And by that I mean YAY!! It’s been a while since Krasinski has hit the talk show circuit.
Also Playing…
- Ghost Whisperer | 8pm on CBS: Sam has a brush with death when he saves Melinda from mortal danger.
- Flashpoint | 9pm on CBS: The team discovers that the federal agent they are working with during the transport of a serial killer is secretly sabotaging their mission.
- Numb3rs | 10pm on CBS: The team gets a last-minute tip that could exonerate a dangerous mob boss who is about to be executed; Charlie tries to help the CalSci basketball team break their losing streak.
What will YOU be watching?

I originally thought they were going to show both parts of Daybreak on the same night. I guess SciFi decided against that- or I just misunderstood. Either way I’m sad to see BSG end
Have a great time in NYC and heed Ducky’s advice!
