Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Saturday, March 14, 2009
March 14, 2009 by Kath Skerry
Saturday is not known for its stellar TV lineup, so around here it’s movie night. Last Saturday was all about the Apatow boys. This week it’s the first lady of the big screen – Julia Roberts. Believe it or not, TBS isn’t airing “Pretty Woman” tonight – I thought that movie was on at least once a day. Instead we are offering some of Julia’s other big screen flicks. As all three movies are airing at the same time you’ll have to choose one…unless you’re particularly crafty with the remote. Do you have a favorite Julia Roberts movie?
Erin Brockovich | 8pm on Encore
A law clerk researching a client’s health case stumbles on a cover-up of a contaminated water supply in a desert town. Starring: Julia Roberts, Albert Finney, Aaron Eckhart, Marg Helgenberger, Cherry Jones
Notting Hill | 8pm on ABC Family
A ordinary man’s life changes when an international star walks into his bookshop. But can their relationship survive her stardom? After all, she’s just a girl asking a boy…nah, too cheesy. Starring: Julia Roberts, Hugh Grant, Hugh Bonneville, Emma Chambers, James Dreyfus
Charlie Wilson’s War | 8pm on Cinemax
A congressman, a socialite and a CIA agent are instrumental to the funding of freedom fighters working against the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Based on a book by George Crile. Starring: Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams, Ned Beatty
Saturday Night Live | 11:30pm on NBC
30 ROCK star and former Saturday Night Live regular, Tracy Morgan, returns to his old stomping grounds but this time to host. Joining Tracy will be musical guest, the original American Idol – Kelly Clarkson. Julia Roberts will not be appearing…well as least as far as I know.

and I love Erin Brockovich. My favorite Julia Robert’s movie by far. But I’m pretty biased since I work in the environmental field. 😉
Notting Hill and Runaway Bride are my favorite Julia Roberts’ movies of all tiem.
Unquestionably believe that which you stated. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the internet the easiest thing to be aware of.
I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while people
think about worries that they just do not know about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well
as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal.
Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
