Check Out KINGS Tonight on NBC
March 15, 2009 by Kath Skerry
I know this post is a bit redundant as I’ve already included KINGS in Tonight’s TV Spotlight, but I wanted to give it some extra loveage because I’m hoping that y’all will give it a go tonight. I’ve seen the first four episodes and while the show is a lot to take on, and a bit daunting out of the gate I think if you give it some time you’ll find it as intriguing as I do.
We’ll be talking about the show tomorrow here on GMMR so I’m hoping you’ll make the investment in watching tonight so you can partake in the conversation we’ll be having tomorrow.
KINGS airs its 2-hour series premiere starting at 8pm on NBC tonight.

Damn i forgot about it and forgot to dvr it. Hopefully they post it online before i go to sleep. I’ve been looking forward to kings.
Oh my GOD, I loved it. Can’t wait for the discussion tomorrow.
I loved it alot too! Can’t wait to hear what other people thought of it…
Wow, I just finished watching it and thought it was amazing. Not only did it look great, but the writing, acting and just about everything was amazing!
I absoulutly loved the reveal about Jack and where that can lead.
I will probably watch it again, but the jury is still out!
It seemed incredibly cheesy to me? I could only get through the first hour. Classic bad-boy, stuck-up prince born to privilege alongside the angelic do-gooder princess and the gorgeous, brave, kind-hearted outsider who unwittingly gets thrust onto the scene and must interact with the jerks and predictably fall for the princess. Am I missing something? I’m not getting the allure of the show.
I wasn’t planning on watching this, but I read a few reviews and just caught it online. I loved this show! Now if only it weren’t on nbc, which has a habit of canceling the shows I like before they can get on their feet.
I really liked it! There were some cheeseball moments, that’s for sure (I’m still not sure how I feel about that crown of butterflies) and the whole David vs Goliath thing was a little heavy handed, but for the most part I was intrigued and am excited for the next episode. I can’t wait to hear what everyone else here thought about it.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. I thought it was fantastic. Maybe I’m just a sucker for sweeping epics, but I really liked it. Yes it was a bit cheesy at points, but I can look beyond that. I find the whole universe it’s set it fasinating. I want to know where it goes from here. I just hope NBC gives it a chance.
