Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Friday, April 3, 2009

TGIF baby! T.G.I.F. I’m so ready for this weekend. Got any fun plans? What are you up to this weekend?

I’ll be celebrating my friend Rob’s birthday (Happy Birthday, Rob!) and doing some much needed errand running. I kind of love a weekend not bogged down with plans. I’m going to try to get a jump start on the new season of RESCUE ME, but I’m not holding myself to it because if the weather is nice I’m going to try to be outside as much as I can. Spring weather just needs to arrive in Boston already!

As for Friday night television, there’s certainly a few shows to choose from. Perhaps you’ll want to check out the recently renewed FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS!! (Sorry, I just like typing that). Or maybe DOLLHOUSE. Assuming DOLLHOUSE is good again this week I might be back with a weekly review. I stopped before because I had pretty much checked out of the show and I didn’t feel like writing the same thing every single week. But it has been better so I think I’m back on board.

Speaking of bored you must be sick of me babbling. Here’s a few TV choices for you tonight.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles | 8pm on Fox
“Adam Raised a Cain”
John pursues a Skynet target, and gets close to Weaver; Ellison reunites with Sarah after plans change; Weaver uncovers secrets about Ellison.

Friday Night Lights | 9pm on NBC
“Underdogs”
The McCoys’ and Taylors’ friendship is on thin ice after Joe and J.D.’s scuffle; Buddy tries to make amends with Lyla; Tyra and Landry try to rekindle their romance.

Dollhouse | 9pm on Fox
“Needs”
When Echo, Sierra and Victor wake up with most of their original personalities and memories, Echo organizes an escape from the Dollhouse.

Head Case | 10pm on Starz
“Tying the…Not”
Dr. Goode’s wedding day arrives; Tate Donovan needs help with his dating issues; Jeff Probst suffers from a case of mistaken identity. [GMMR: I’ve heard that many of you find this show funny. Sorry, but I can not stand Allie Wentworth.  She irks me so much. But I’m glad you all are loving it.]

Party Down | 10:30pm on Starz
“Pepper McMasters Singles Seminar“
The team caters a senior singles mixer hosted by Pepper McMasters; Constance has an awkward encounter. [GMMR: Pretty funny episode.  This week’s VM alum guest star is Ed Begley Jr. Jane Lynch continues to bother me but I can deal because I find the rest of the cast pretty damn funny.  I hope you all caught last week’s episode with Jason Dohring…did you love it?!]
